Red Lantern 7 ft. Tall Cherry Shoji Sliding Rosewood Door Kit, Blossom Single Sided

Rosewood was redder than we thought, but I am editing this post now and adding two stars to say that we love the color and are glad we chose it. Easy to install and operate if the floor is absolutely flat, but for the second one we got where the floor was uneven (basement concrete) the doors would be tight to slide, and fall out of the frame at the same time. Does provide an effective and attractive screening between rooms.

Arrived on time, undamaged, easy to assemble, I am installing this in a wall to a tatami mat room.

Beautiful Japanese style. I have kids so I was concerned about the endurance. Also, bottom track created a safety hazard. So ended up returning it.

I was simply trying to replace the same exact doors that had been destroyed by a cat. The ones I had were over 10 years old. The new ones fit perfectly but the quality is not even close. The wood is different and the rice paper has a bunch of wrinkles. Better than shredded rice paper that I had, but obviously lesser quality.

What a delightful surprise. This is not only beautiful but so well made.

The doors look really great. The wood is a little softter and so it might scratch and or chip over time. Also, they have a pretty thick frame on all 4 sides. That's good, because they're sturdy, but it's a little awkward to have to step over them to enter the closet or room behind them. Assembly of the frames themselves was straightforward and didn't take long. We ended up having to trim the doors down and attach hardware we bought because of the uneveness of our basement floor, where they were installed. Not sure if you'd have the same issues. That took a long time and a lot of fiddling around, but once they were finally up, they looked beautiful.

Have had this for several years. Love the look and had to do some wood trimming to make it work. However, with small kids the panels have torn and there's no way to repair it except tape :(. It's unfortunate they don't have a way to disassemble to repair. You get what you pay for!
