There is nothing exactly 'wrong' with these ties. Like most inexpensive items these days, they look pretty good in the pictures and coming out of the package. The style, width and colors are all classicly correct. With that said, the fabric is rougher than you would expect from something trying be a silk doppelgänger. They are thin and cheap-looking. All of them held a weird crease where they had been folded during packaging. The material also catches more easily than I'd like (I actually ruined one almost immediately while looping through a tie hanger and caught and pulled some of the fibers).All in all, if you don't wear ties very often and just need a HarborFreight version to get you through an event or two, these are fine. But I wouldn't count on these to get you through your working career.
