Gibson Home Almira Melamine Dinnerware, Assorted, Service for Four (12pcs)

Ordered these for the grandkids to have something new and a bit special to serve them their meals. The colors are fun for kids and - me too! Hand wash to keep the colors bright - not dishwasher safe I don’t think. Love this set.

We eat outside a lot, either on our screen porch or out at the fire pit. My wife was concerned about us breaking our glass dinnerware. These are lightweight, durable and look nice. The only drawback is that they are not microwaveable.

Got these in May 2017 and only writing a review now because I'm finally thinking about replacing them. I use these dishes every day for all my meals. I don't treat them kindly. I don't take care of them. They were under $20 and lasted years of culinary abuse. Like the rest of us, they wear down with use. I love them and thank them for their years of service.

Fun colors and durable dishes. We like the designs a lot just wish they had a little edge on the lip of the plate.

These plates are very colorful but I have had melamine dishes be much thicker , Great price point for dishes that will only be used outdoors and infrequently.

As per the description, these should not be placed in the microwave. I forgot, put it in for 20 seconds, came out burning hot. I knew this, but forgot.They are however a very cute lightweight set. We use them just in the RV.

I am very pleased with these dishes. I bought two packs so I have would have eight of each piece. The patterns are so cheerful, bright, and playful. They go so well with my decor. I use them with my grandkids who have so much fun picking out their favorite plate and cup. If you were looking for dishes, that screen playful, buy these.

I grabbed these because I needed some lightweight and unbreakable plates on hand. After a couple of months of use,the coating is starting to bubble and I've had to throw a few away.
