My 2.5 year old LOVES this book! 🎃
I started reading Sandra Boynton books to my son when he was an infant, but they’ve become even more useful now that he’s a toddler with a speech delay. They’re fun, catchy, and have cute illustrations. We have a couple Halloween books (Spookie Pookie & Boo, Baa, La La La) and this is the perfect addition to those. As his speech therapist recommended, I usually read him the story a few times so he knows how it goes, then start leaving the last word or phrase off on each page so he can attempt to finish it. This book reads a little differently than some of her others, so it’s not always easy to do… but he loves trying! There’s some funny chickens in here that crack him up… he also loves counting how many there are on each page. I think we’ll be able to read this story year-round.Highly recommend this affordable book for infants, toddlers, and even little kids! Family friendly and funny!Hope this helps! ☺️

Fun holiday book
All boynton books are good. This one is silly and cute with not too scary chickens. My granddaughter is too young to enjoy the humor this Halloween but by next Halloween she’ll think it’s fun. This year her parents can enjoy the chickens.

An all time favorite with the grandkids!
My 2 and 3 year old granddaughters think this book is hilarious, joining in on the Eeks! It doesn’t need to be Halloween to enjoy reading it one more time.

A surprising favorite
We love Sandra Boynton books. They're great for little hands, and our daughter has enjoyed them since she was an infant.I thought this one would be a bit of a gimmicky holiday thing, and I guess it kind of is, but we have still really enjoyed it and it has been a favorite for a while. The subject matter interests my daughter, and it has some memorable lines she learned quickly. She started declaring "What's going on here??" in all sorts of situations, which has been fun.The story has kind of a mystery to it that keeps the child engaged, while also making reference to thematic Halloween elements that they're seeing a lot around them in the fall but don't yet understand.

Best Halloween Book For Kids
I love this Halloween book. My child was very concerned & scared by Halloween at first. I searched for a book to help support him. This book helps explain that it’s just people or animals dressed up. It follows a really nice story about the silly chickens getting scared & questioning what does it all mean?I use this with sensory play too. It is a household favourite now that I have bought for many friends with little ones.

Genial
Genial! Una historia rimada divertida y perfecta para introducir Halloween y el inglés a los más pequeños. Además su tamaño y grosor de hojas ayuda al manejo por parte de los peques
