Would Buy it Again!
I bought another one because my first one shorted out. I love the thermometer and that it has a magnet to attach to my refrigerator. I use it all the time! It is well worth the money and works great!

Not reliable. Poor customer support
After using this thermometer only 5 or 6 times, the temperature display shows 3 dashes permanently. The customer service support was useless and the only solution they proposed was to buy a new probe. At that point I was expecting them to send me a new one instead (they offered nothing). Thankfully, when I bought the Taylor I also bought a Thermopro thermometer, which (so far) is working so perfectly that I bought another one.

Have had this Taylor 1470N Classic Series Programmable Meat Thermometer with Timer and Alarm for years. Ordered this one for my brother-in-law on Sunday, shipped on Monday and was delivered on Wednesday evening cross-country all without having to pay for premium shipping. No, the USPS is not broken! Really appreciate the prompt attention to my order. Thank you.

Not as pictured
The thermometer I received doesn't look like the one advertised. The one that was delivered was gray with some buttons being red and some black. I would have returned it but I needed it for a camping trip. It being only $20 or so, I'm not too devastated. I will say that it seems to work ok but also seems to be cheaply built. I don't think it'll be something that lasts very long. I feel one drop and it'll be over. Should have spent a little more
