The media could not be loaded.  I am SO impressed with this book! I’ve been knitting socks for about 10 years and I have to admit that there is an entire shelf of sock books in my library that remain untouched. This book isn’t going to be one of those. The author did a tremendous job explaining every aspect of sock knitting and the techniques that are involved in the process of creating knitted socks. Toe up, cuff down, even two needle socks - (which I will never understand the purpose of those. Knitting on dpns, may be daunting at first, but just take the plunge and do it. It will open up to entire new world to conquer the fear of knitting on double point needles!)Lots of options presented for cuffs, heels and toe options. There are also 10 patterns included by guest designers as well.Pictures are clear and concise. Lots of little ‘tricks of the trade’ presented in shaded text boxes along the way.Kudos to Lynn Rowe! Stunning book!! Brilliant work!

This book is an excellent reference for both new and experienced sock knitters. I’ve knitted quite a few pairs of socks and I learned several things from it. A note to other sock knitters- learn the magic loop method. Once you master it you’ll love it!

I’ve been knitting socks for many years, even taught a sock knitting class at my local yarn shop. This is a book that I would recommend. It’s very well written and the information and directions are very clear and easy to understand. It’s exactly the kind of book that I wish I had when I was teaching.

Arrived quickly. It is a brilliant source of information for any sock knitter, be it a new sock knitter or an advanced one. Excellent patterns, good photography. I loved it!

I have wanted to learn how to knit socks for a while. With the help of this book I've nearly finished my first pair. The instructions are clear with lots of pictures. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to do this.
