The ladder was easy to assemble, comes basically assembled except for the mid spacer pieces. From a design point of view it would be nice if the spacing swing pieces that we attach could meet flush end to end or in line with the steps to keep narrow profile for storing rather than one crossing over. Otherwise great ladder that I highly recommend.

My teenage grandkids requested this ladder, they installed the ladder, and were pleased with the ladder.

Very good product. There are no directions so people get confused on how to attach the flip out braces. The holes are in the steps, there four of them because the upper hooks can spin completely around. So the braces can go on either side of the steps. If zoom in on the pic in the advertisement you can see.

A great ladder to get in and out of the boat

You pay for what you get. It's not a bad ladder, make sure you measure your side board width so that the folding arms can attach and hang over the side easily. The plastic in the arms is extremely thin and tear easily. No instructions come with attaching the short arms. So make sure you look at the picture on the sale add. In general it works. It's all aluminum so no worry about rust as one mention in another comment. If your heavy or plan on using this product on a regular basis, (like skiing) I would upgrade and pay for a higher quality ladder. For my use this is only for emergency access to climb back onto my boat .

There are two legs that fold hours that are supposed to go up against whatever using the latter, for in order to make it stable. These legs do not come all the way out there at an angle. Therefore, they collapse when you’re trying to climb up the ladder, so they are completely useless. Unfortunately I purchased way too early and by the time I could try them out it was too late to return them. My loss is your gain. If you read this report, do not buy it.

This ladder is great for getting in and out of our 20’ Robalo. Now we can easily get in the water for swimming, and easily get back onto the boat.

Nice boat ladder. Didnt know i had to drill it to install the small arms that keep the ladder away from the boat. It now allows water to get i to the ladder...that is a design flaw. But i fixed it by drilling holes in the bottom to drain the water.
