John Deere Complete 42" Mower Deck for LA105, LA115, LA125, L100,L110, and More

Pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Everything happened exactly as the seller said. The only thing that was different was the delivery time was a LOT less than stated in the copy. Due to the stated length of time for delivery I almost decided to order it locally. I had the mower deck before the expected ship date and before the local dealer said they would get it in. It was delivered in pristine condition by the frieght company. The driver was very helpful and called ahead for instructions. Ordering was easy and the whole process was smooth. Ordering a large item online always feels like a dice roll but these folks know their business. The deck is better than the one the came on the mower even though it is the same part number. The hangers have been redesigned to improve ease of use and strength. Instructions for the new configuration are concise and complete. I am very pleased with the deck and the service.

Ordered on Friday received the following Thursday. Perfect fit on my 2010 LA135. It took 24 minutes to remove old deck and put on new one. Deck came fully assembled with spindles, blades, pullies, belt, safety chute. All I had to add on were the wheels. I detached the old deck in 8 minutes. Be certain to keep the support straps you will need them for the new deck. Take your time remember how old deck was attached and new deck installation takes little more than 15 minutes. You will need a needle nose pliers to remove cotter pins, socket wrench to remove support strap bolts to put them on new deck. One con, price was a bit steep but it included free shipping.

Great deal,price was right and was perfect fit but did have few issues. First box was opened when it arrived,and one wheel bolt missing. Seller sent me new bolts. Secondly after installing mower deck and started tractor and as soon as I engaged PTO belt completely disintegrated. Removed mower deck and discovered the little pulley was froze and not turning. I removed pulley and old belt from old deck and no problem, I have mowed at least 4 times and everything fine. I gave 5 stars because not sellers fault just manufacturing quality control probably wasn't checked before shipped. Just hope it wasn't returned to shipper and reshipped hope open Box was during shipping.

I would give this 5 stars but there were two things that make it so i couldn't..First, if the sender had put tracking on it so I knew when I would be getting it that would have been nice. The driver didn't wait for my boyfriend to answer the door before starting to leave. And we had no idea it was gonna be delivered the day it came. We obviously got it though.Second, And this ones a bigger issue, the holes didn't match up.. so luckily I had someone good with mechanics putting the deck onto the mower.. they had to run to the store to pick up different bolts and such to make it fit, because the ones it came with wouldn't work.. which was frustrating. You'd think it would come with the holes lined up properly with how expensive these things are...However aside from those two issues it attached fairly easily and it's working great.

Bought my LA115 in 2010 when I retired and moved to the TX Gulf Coast. Kept outdoors and the deck finally rusted through. Priced a new mower at $2K. Bought this deck instead. Exact fit, no modifications needed. Came with belt, blades, scalp wheels and all attachment hardware except lift arms. I did lube the spindles' before hooking up. Mower now cuts better than when new. Not sure of the improvements to the deck but they work. I recommend and would buy again.

John Deere lawn tractor made so we'll it outlasts it's cutting decks. Yes! I purchased John Deere L118 20 years ago and this is my 3rd cutting deck counting the original. I have country property, (rough service), and I'd bet this mower will still be running 10 years from now. Mower deck easily installed and works perfectly. Replacing worn out deck is a great alternative to purchasing a new mower for a fraction of the cost

When I mowed the yard the very first time, I went over a tree stump that I did not see. Needless to say I must of bent something on the mower deck. It sounded awful and when I actually tried to mow again it sounded worse and finally ripped the mower drive belt. Bought the new mower deck and installed it. My yard looks great.

The deck was simple to install and made my 13 year-old L110 cut like new! The package could have used more notes on adjusting the deck and fewer on how to install warning stickers, but overall I was very pleased with the product. When this deck wears out it’ll be time for a new mower!
