Frederique Constant Slimline Silver Dial Black Leather Strap Quartz Men's Watch

This is my third Frederique Constant watch and my favorite. Actually, they are all great watches but this watch is particularly useful. I dress in a suit for work and this watch is perfect -- it looks great with black leather band and nice watch face, plus being battery powered, it is super slim. The latter is important as it never catches on my shirt cuff. Hardly a day goes by that I don't get a compliment or inquiry as to the type of watch. To sum it up, it is an elegant dress watch that I am not afraid to wear as an everyday watch for work.

I have purchased more expensive watches, but none more elegant. I was delighted that Frederique Constant had this timepiece in quartz, as I prefer thin to clunky. I also like the fact that the face is a bit larger than my other watches. That and the fact that the black hands and numerals on white back provide a stark contrast make it very easy to read, even the date, which needs no magnifier to read clearly. The design is timeless and classic. If I had a quibble it would be that the leather strap is a bit stiff and not of the quality leather befitting such a beautiful watch. But that's a mere quibble, and frankly, I expect that this timepiece will outlive several leather bands. Great value!

Excellent value for a classic looking watch. Impressively slimline and looks good as a dress watch as well as a daily wearer.

Actually looks better than the picture shown. Very slim watch, only 5.9 mm thick. For a slight similar watch, FC-245M4S6 model is only 5mm thick but the case size is 2mm smaller. For a nice looking affordable watch, definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

The watch is beautiful, but apparently the battery is dead. So I am disappointed since I cannot find a shop that can change them. I do not know how I can complain

First impression/review 1 - Simple but elegant, light and thin. Very comfortable when wearing long sleeved shirts. Review 2: I changed the rating of this watch to 1 from 4.After 1 month, I thought there was battery problem because when I put it with my other watches in the box, it stopped working many times. So, I had the battery replaced but then it stopped working again. I don't know if the watch is designed to stop working when not worn or not. But, compared to my other cheaper watches, it is really inconvenient to adjust the time again and again before wearing!

Fully satisfied with this purchase. The watch is exactly as described and pictured. It's very thin, with a large face, and it's elegant and refined looking. It appears to be more expensive than it is. Functionally it works as expected and keeps perfect time. The band arrives fairly stiff and needs some time and effort to loosen up.

It's already my second FC and I can tell it's a reliable watch, thin and elegant. Good value for money.
