BeamsWork LED Plant Pink Aquarium Light Freshwater RGB Chip Roseate (36")

Note: I am a novice at planted tanks.Time will tell if this is good for my plants but I can say that this light along-side my 6700K lights looks great! The reds on my reddish plants and fish alike really pop. It you have a tall tank like a 65 e sure to use this in conjunction with white light for looks and plants.I highly recommend this light for fish only or planted tanks.UPDATE: Been using it for quite some time now and it's becoming one of my favorite lights. The plants below this light look very happy so I might add a 2nd one to my 24" front-2-back tank.UPDATE 2: I bought a 2nd and now have 2 of these with a 10K + a few blue in-between. Plants are very happy and looking good. Looking directly at the light it's hard to tell but looking down at the reflection on the surface of the water you can see that each LED is actually a mix of 50% red/25% green/and 25% blue. It would look white if it were 33% each but the predominance of red gives it a slight pink hue. It doesn't really make my tank pink. My plants that contain reds are really coloring-up nicely. My school of green neons positively glow. Highly recommend this for planted tanks. BTW, greenhouses often have a lot of red & pink for their terrestrial plants.

This light gives a nice rosy light. I have three lights on the top of my aquarium. I have a Marineland Plant light, Current satellite plus pro, and the Beams Work which sits between the other two. This light brings out the color with any fish that has red or Gold in it. I've discovered that even blue fish have red or golden highlights The plants are growing better because I now have more coverage. This light works well as a third light but I doubt that it is powerful enough to use on its own. I am happy with this light and I enjoy the better colors on the fish. The current light is in the front, the Marineland is in the back and this sits in the middle. There is just enough room on my75 gallon tank to fit all three. Since there was some light falloff in the middle this light helps the plants growing in the middle of the tank. It works perfectly with the other two lights. My plants are growing luxuriantly. I discovered my plants need more iron and I dose with 8 ml of Flourish Iron every day. This light really brings out the color in my platys and swordtails and the red plants look great. I have a golden ram and this light brings out his colors. My marble hatchet fish even look prettier.

I purchased the "Pink" Led light which enhances the fish colors beyond belief! I have the 2 strips on a timer to monitor the "on time" to keep algae growth under control. The photons emitted by pink spectrum is also plants favorite, so its kind of a delicate balance, enough light for the live plants and not too much to have the algae go "out of control". An abundance of Nerite Snails keep the balance in my favor and help keep the tank looking fantastic and the fish look amazing with these lights! I highly recommend

This light is doing a great job and so far, it is the best light that I am able to find. The magic part about this light is that it enhances color of red fish significantly while it does not change water and decoration color. Price is great for high quality light like this. Don't spend your money on cheap lighting that changes color of everything. Get this light, turn it on and you will see magic. I bought another one for my second tank. This light is that great.

I have had this light for a few months now and I have used it every day. It is still working great and really brings out the pink and red colors in my fish. One thing to note, even though it really brings out pinks and reds, it can alter other colors a little as well. My yellow lab cichlids will have an orange tint with this light on so if something like that is going to bother you than I would not suggest this light. For reference, one picture is just a standard led light I had and the other picture is the pink light.

iNCREDIBLE COLOR ENHANCEMENT FOR RED FISH

Works good, just wish the legs that keep it on the aquarium rim would stay in place better, they shift way too easily.

Nice quality great value light. It enhances my fishes color very well. ( I use it in addition to white and blue led)
