Great Value
Nice little box. I used it to spool up some extra outdoor rated CAT6 cable outside my house. I did this just in case the cable gets damaged and I need to spool off a little bit to put a new RJ-45 on it. The entire cable runs from my router inside to my ONT outside. I sealed up the holes through the exterior wall after I pulled the cable through. Having the extra cable in there would make a future repair far easier than having to pull a whole new cable. I’ve been burned by not having a little extra when a cable breaks. Had coax do that to me after a hurricane hit and severed a run along the outside of the house. For the cost, this is a great purchase and I’m very happy with it.

Perfect
This box was exactly what I was looking for in works perfectly. If I needed another one I would definitely buy again.

simple, sturdy, and weatherproof
It's exactly as pictured. Closes securely, with no visible gaps except a very thin one on the bottom, at the flat end of the black rubberized grommet. Drills and dremels well. I cut a scrap of thin wooden panel to fit inside, for mounting hardware, rather than screw anything directly into the plastic. There's a rectangular frame on the back, that sticks out 1/4 inch -- you can see it in one of the customer photos. If you cut/dremel thin slots in that frame, you can use them like belt loops, to strap or zip-tie the enclosure to something. (I did exactly that, and slid the enclosure onto one of the steel straps of the chimney-mount for my TV antenna.)

Works for me
New house and just noticed that where the direct tv and cable enters the house the existing box was missing its lid...I was worried that the connections exposed would cause some trouble when I really did not want it...figured to get it solved before the winter arrived. I tried contacting the relevant utilities but that was like pulling my own teeth so I looked for the item locally and then online and was not able to find a match but I did find this.I just attached this to my hardiplank outer wall by drilling some thru holes in the back of the box and I was able to mount it and then run all the coax and ground wires (4 coax, 3 ground wires (maybe 12 AWG)) through the plastic gasket on the bottom...closed the lid and screwed in the existing screw to hold it tight and done...there is a threaded stud that you might be able to use to fasten some sort of locking device but not necessary for me.I was thinking of caulking the top of the box where it meets the hardiplank (I have wires entering the house here) and then also caulking on the top and sides of the box where the lid meets the base but did not... a bit of apathy and the box top has a good lip all around so it should stop any water from entering.Check the sizing to see if it will do for you... relatively well made otherwise so you should be able to make it work.Satisfied.

Had exposed wires outside from previous owner
This box covered the wires up neatly. Just had to drill holes in the box. Now everything looks nice and neat.

works great
I bought two of these to house usb hubs and connections under the house. They mounted great on the support beams and I was able to run the usb and power cable into the boxes with no issues. I had to cut open the plastic grommet in order to fit the extension cord into it. The cord was 16 gauge, but the power plug was a larger diameter than the grommet itself. They seal with a supplied screw and they have several mounting points marked in the plastic, but it was easy to drill through wherever it was needed. Now the mice and rats under the house will stare in awe of the organizational brilliance of these boxes, and forever wonder what is inside.

Good. Wish it had a clip locking mechanism.
Really wish it had a clip close in addition to the phillips screw close. Would be much more convenient. The weatherproofing is by no means amazing. Still, this did a decent job for what I was using it for (I placed a CMB24D control board in it for my Light-O-Rama Christmas show).
