This is a very good unit, especially for the relatively low price. It looks expensive, and operates smoothly. I shortened the roller bar about a foot to fit my situation without any problems. I cleaned up and used a salvaged door to save some money, so my out-of-pocket expenses were only for this hardware. A great deal for me.When remodeling my master bath I removed the door and frame because it always seemed to be in the way when using the bathroom. A pocket door was not an option due to electrical and plumbing obstructions, so this rolling external door seemed to be a viable solution. It turned out great.Something to consider, however, is that the instructions are based on the metric system. For example, the instructions indicate anchoring the bar mounts 400mm apart, which is about the standard 16" between studs. Not a difficult adaptation, really.The only real gripe is the minimal installation instructions, as indicated in numerous previous reviews. They are on one sheet, entirely in pictographs. A paragraph or two of text addressing the metric/inch conversion and a few other issues would have saved some time. Also, you will have to figure out yourself how to install the door guide into the floor for your particular situation. Several other reviews indicate how to do this, so I won't go into detail. In the end, my best advice would be to review the instructions, then measure and fit all the parts and components to be sure they will be located exactly where you want them before you start mounting things. In the end, however, I found the instructions to be very accurate.I have posted some pictures of my new master bath sliding door. I am very pleased with the product and result.

This kit is awesome with little to dislike. It is first off superior quality. Solid and sturdy. And gorgeous very high quality look for the price. The way the rollers mount is easy to install and work perfectly. Rolls smoothly. Only complaints are the instructions have two different height measurements for mounting the bar that do not clearly give a distinction as to the correct height. One place it says mount the total door height plus 1-1/2”. Another place it shows door plus 2”. I mounted it and then it was one full inch to low for the door to hang. So I had to completely take off and raise it one inch. So technically I had to mount the brackets that hold the bar 2-1/2” added on the length pf the door. The brackets that hold the rail also can be finicky to mount perfectly. The floor was unlevel and so each one was a little off. So the best thing to do is mount one at the right height and then use a level to get the rest in place rather than measuring each from the floor. Those are my two complaints. But will buy again if I need a brushed steel kit.

One of those increasingly rare "wow, this is way better than I thought it'd be" purchases. Barn doors are trendy and seem like a thrifty way to salvage a used door but then you go to buy the hardware and you're hit with a $300+ price tag. So, a $75 option seemed a little suspicious. But I trusted the reviews, and went for it and I'm thrilled with it.The good: - The hardware is hefty and feels 'well machined' - it looks good. Not overly stylized so would fit in well in most rooms. - installed fairly easily. - Came with a matching door 'handle' (which while noted, was something I didn't realize initially)The minor nit-picks - The roller hardware that mounts to the door isn't adjustable in or out. As such, the rollers will hang over the edge of the door a bit so the door isn't balanced on its center of gravity. Maybe this is intentional, but felt a bit off to me. - The instructions could have a bit more detail to them. - if you are installing this for a bath, note that you will have a gap between the door and frame (see below).But, again, for $75, those are certainly nit-picks.As for the bathroom issue, I don't think barn doors are really designed for bathrooms. In my case, I took off the top casing around the door frame and replace it with one that was twice as long. I then mounted the rail hardware to the casing (through into the wall studs, of course). After mounting the rollers and hanging, you are left with about a 5/8th of an inch gap between the door face and the casing. This can feel a bit awkward in a bathroom. I think the fix will be for me to just get clever with the door trim and fir the gap out a bit with some corner bead or the like.

Beautiful. Excellent quality. Heavy, solid. I can’t say enough about this barn door hardware. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. I found this exact hardware at my local Home Depot for more than double the price. Went searching online for the actual supplier and found it on Ali Express out of China. Tracked it back to Amazon. Bought it and received it today. I would definitely recommend this item.

I just received my order. It came in one long box with each component wrapped and boxed separately within the main box. Nicely packaged to avoid any damage in shipment. All the components were present. I opened and inspected all the parts and am happy to say that the workmanship was excellent. The parts had crisp edges, even brushing and no scratches or marks.I'm still renovating the room that this will be mounted in so I can't comment on the ease of installation or how well it functions when used but there's nothing I see that gives me any reason to think it will not go smoothly or that I won't be happy with its function.

Can't beat the price, instructions not the best. Overall quality is good.I have been searching for a reasonably priced bard door hardware and found these on Amazon. While I was a bit skeptical to purchase then given they seemed cheap, I was honestly surprised by the quality of the material. I agree with one other review that the instructions are honestly some of the worst that I have seem. What is important is that the holes for the mounting of the brackets holding the pole need to be at 61mm (2.4")above the height of the door (assuming the door you have is larger than the opening) and they need to be level. So if the door is 86" in length, place the holes at 88.4" from the floor) As long as you follow that, the rest is fairly easy. Had it installed within an hour.

Excellent price. Well made piece of hardware. Very easy to install.
