It’s what I expected and it was shipped out really fast.

This is the second Haynes manual I have purchased and been very please with both. Good descriptions and good illustrations. Definitely a go to manual that will bridge the gaps while watching YouTube videos. Also, the information is far more researched and easy to reference.

The great book all the information you ever need not too bad of a price

I saw a lot of negative reviews for this and decided to gamble on it anyway since I didn't see any good alternatives for a service manual.After the book arrived I went through the whole thing cover to cover. The paper stock is stolid, the pictures are clear and easy to understand, and the instructions are excellent. It seems whatever problems they were having before have been resolved. I can fully recommend this book.

I have several of these manuals for different bikes, this one is the same as the others, very detailed. Like all these there is an assumption you are a reasonable mechanic.

Haynes is usually a very good reference guid for repairs. I picked this up because I wanted a more comprehensive repair manual to have for longer trips and to augment the owners manual. The one time that I really needed it, I found that the page with the critical steps was blank - like the printer ran out of ink blank. There was a faint hint of text but nothing legible. Overall, the paper quality is very poor and print quality is really bad. This won't hold up over time. I give three stars given the Haynes content is something you can't find easily elsewhere.

Yea. I was worried with the number of bad reviews. I bought my book new directly from amazon hoping it would be a newer print release.It worked. The manual I got is as expected. Sure the paper is thin but all the manuals are. Print and photos are readable.

For BMW R1200 '13 to '16 Liquid Cooled Twins. Not sure about the previous complaints about ink-less pages. Went page by page and all pages were readable and not lacking ink. The first 16 pages (History and Pre-ride) are normal hardbound thickness and in color. The electrical/wiring diagrams are the same hardbound stock and also in color, as well as the first 22 pages of the Reference section. The rest of the manual is thin paper but I wouldn't call it newspaper; it's thicker but not hardbound book stock. It's the same stock as a paperback book (funny...it's a paper backed book!). Written in English, not American, so there is a minute (my newt) language barrier. If it is as good as the one for my 2000 Yamaha YZF600R it will be worth the money.

As a very novice mechanic, and a non YouTube kind of guy, this book works for me

Leyendo los comentarios vi que muchas personas decían que la calidad de la impresión era más bien mala, pero en mi caso mi ejemplar está perfecto, trae muchos esquemáticos y algunos de ellos a todo color junto con varias fotografías, el resto de las páginas está en blanco y negro pero la calidad es excelente.No he acabado de leerlo pero se ve sumamente completo, por supuesto que lo recomiendo si no quieren estar yendo a cada rato a la agencia a que cobren no se cuantos miles de pesos por cambiarle el aceite a la moto.

excelente guia para os principais serviços de manutenção para a BMW R 1200 GS. Bastante útil para pessoas que como eu, não dominam as técnicas mecânicas, mas são curiosos à respeito.
