The media could not be loaded. Ease of use:We several Black & Decker yard tools that use the same 20 volt lithium battery. All work very well and the hedge clippers are no exception. Light enough for my wife to handle and ultra convenient. We always have plenty of charged batteries on hand. It comes with one battery, hedge shears (shown in the video) and a short sickle bar.

Great small trimmer. We have several B&D 20 V tools. Great value and tough quality.We have the longest trimmer as well.

This B&D cordless shrubber was purchased to trim landscape roses. It does pretty good with most of the stems but it didn't cut easily through some of the woodier stems. I don't think it would be useful for woody shrubs.

This device comes with two trimmers One for hedge and one for grass. This hedge clippers work reasonably well for a small battery operated device. IF the worked faster it would help. The limitation is hedges with branches larger than 1/4 inch land the grass clippers work well as long has the stem is not to woody. The batteries last quite awhile. Unit comes with two batteries and a charger.The batteries will also work with the B&V weed eater

This cordless trimmer works perfectly for small jobs around the yard. Easy for me to use/handle and I appreciate that it's not too heavy. Since I already have a B&D drill, I can switch batteries between them which works out great. The only issue I had was putting in the blade and a neighbor showed me how to do it. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.

I always start by reading negative reviews before deciding to buy anything, so It was not easy to make the decision to purchase this trimmer. I live in the Pacific northwest, and the grass is normally wet, and hand shears are difficult to use because the grass doesn't always cut cleanly. I wanted something to trim around trees and raised flower beds that I can't use the weed eater on. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this tool worked. I trimmed one foot tall grass around 200' of raised beds and short grass around several trees on a single charge. A couple of things to watch out for. Keep it out of the dirt and wear glasses. I hit a small pebble that shot straight up into my face. Could have been a bad day if I didn't have glasses on. Also,the grass shear works well but is pretty light duty. Be patient and don't try to force too much through, you will have much better results going a little slower. It would be nice if it had a little more power, but it is still much faster than using large grass shears. I would purchase again.Update: The cutting quality deteriorated quickly. It still works, but it jams often. The gears lock up and the blades stop moving. There is no way this could cut a 3/8" branch when it gets jammed with a few blades of thick stem grass. Lowering my review from 5 to 3 stars. I have tried cleaning and sharpening , but it didn't help much. Not sure if I would purchase again.
