These light work great, much brighter than the old lights we have in camp. I will be purchasing more of these.

Gas Mantle
Exactly what we were looking for, except we wish it was made in the USA.

Not made for travel!!
I bought this for my grandson’s fishing shanty. Looks really good in it but mantel did break when transferring to the lake.Upon returning home the globe fell off and broke. (Only 1 screw holds it on). Replacement mantels are expensive and the cheaper tie on mantels don’t work as well.Would probably be fine in a stationary building but not for one that is a tag a long.

Perfect for a log cabin in the woods.
Replaced lamps installed over 20 years ago. Still a classic.

Great item for a country cabin
We have 6 wall lights in our cabin and are replacing one due to damage during ceiling update. Very nice addition to a country theme cabin especially during power outages. The preformed mantles are easier to use and wooden matches are easier to use than lighters or paper matches. Be sure to get your gas company to install the lines. Ours were plumbed in the house during construction. The on off valves on the lights we do not trust so we have standard line valves installed just under the lights to turn the gas on only when we use the light. Lastly, be sure to get at least one extra mantle per light and a package of gaskets (felt 0 rings). Mantles can last over a year but when learning how to use gas lights it is easy to poke them with the match and cause them to fall apart. O rings deteriorate over time and need to be changed when the mantle is replaced. These lights put off more heat than the old 100 watt light bulb so be sure to allow for air circulation. Once again we highly recommend them and enjoy ours very much. Pattersons
