These are very high quality, well made bowls. They have a simple and aesthetically pleasing design. They are the perfect size for all sorts of things like soup, cereal, or an ice cream sundae! They are very durable and easy to clean and stack. The ridges on the side make them easy to hold, especially if condensation forms. They will last a long time and are a good value for the money.

The set I bought came with a bowl that has a wide rim. That's fine for some things, but not something I want to eat ramen or cereal out of. Sometimes you just want a regular ole' bowl. These are perfect.They match my set perfectly. Color matches spot on, etc. Really nice size. They are actually a touch on the larger size, which means they can be pressed into service as a small serving bowl in a pinch. Mind you, they are not huge, and they are not a substitute for a full sized serving dish, but if you have a smaller amount of something to serve, perfect.Unfortunately, the first set I ordered arrived smashed, but Amazon promptly replaced them, and all is well.Nice addition to my dinnerware collection.Very happy with these.

I have the italian countryside set that I got from my grandmother before she passed, but she only had the soup bowls, so I got these to match the rest of the set and they are perfect! A little pricey for only 4 bowls, but they are SUPER sturdy ceramic (we have 2 kids and they use them and abuse them). This set definitely looks as beautiful as some of my inherited china. It's our favorite <3

My Aunt sent me a check in my name for a set of china as a wedding present, this is what I picked out. Absolutely lovely enough for daily use, and yet beautiful enough for a formal place setting for the holidays. Neutral enough to change the look of your table with different table cloths and floral arrangements. I love this pattern. Auntie sent an initial check to purchase service for 12 place settings, and then a second check a short time later for me to purchase serving pieces. I purchased two vegetable serving bowls, a large, rectangular meat platter, salt/pepper shakers, covered butter dish, gravy boat and matching oval saucer. One of the tips the saleslady gave me in the Mikasa store was to NEVER use lemon dish soap or lemon dishwasher soap on your china. Ever. I've followed that advice over the years. None of my plates or bowls have scratches on them 17 years later. Very lovingly cared for and extremely durable.

Love them. Good size bowl for soup. Chili or cereal. I dislike shallow, small bowls. This is nice and pairs well with other china patterns.

I purchased these to replace some of my original dish set that were chipped. (My husband isn’t very careful when putting them in the dishwasher.) The price was great compared to department stores, and they match perfectly. We love the larger size for soup and cereal; plus, they are beautiful. Some of my favorite dishes ever!

After hand washing these bowls I noticed that one of them had two long cracks that were not noticeable when you looked at them dry. I do not want to send all of them back as I need the three that I have. These bowls match my dinnerware set and are very hard to find.

I was very relieved to find that none of my bowls were broken, even though the package was dented. My mailman is usually not very kind with my packages.I am very pleased to have found the bowls that go with my set of dishes I bought years ago. Thank you.
