This brush is AMAZING!
Just for reference, I'm 55 years old with medium long hair. However it is thin. Not ultra thin but after covid hair loss its still trying to make a come back.I bought this brush because I struggle with static like crazy even if I use leave in conditioner. I'm not one to put a ton of product in my hair. This did cut some of the static down but not as much as I would have liked. It doesn't seem to damage my hair like the plastic type and feels amazing on the scalp. I bought a second one of these with the ball on the tip of the bamboo bristles to use with my hair growth oil treatment to aid in scalp massage. This brush with the oil feels so good.I love the quality of this brush. This brush is made to last for sure. I totally recommend getting it, you won't be disappointed.

By far the best hair brush I have ever owned!
This is by far the best hair brush that I have ever had the privilege of owning and using. Not only does it keep my hair from having static it also detangles without pulling my hair out! The hair that ends up in the brush is hair that fell out on it's own not hair that was ripped out of my scalp wich makes brushing a pleasure instead of a daily torture. Due to it's straight pins this brush is easy to clean as well! And because it's made of wood and bamboo it helps to distribute your hair's natural oils which is part of why we brush our hair!I will also mention the fact that it is a well made high quality brush. I think that it will last much longer than any of the plastic ones that I have had in the past. And due to the fact that it is made from eco-friendly materials that are biodegradable makes it an even better option for me. Although it may cost more than most of it's plastic counter parts it is still very reasonable compared to most of the other wood brushes that I looked at. Its quality is great especially when you consider the price. I feel like it is well worth the money and I rarely say that about things these days. I will definitely buy this brush again and I will definitely be getting one for my mother and my boyfriend in the near future. ☺

A great hair brush
This is the second Bass wood hairbrush I have owned. The first one I bought 20 years ago so when I lost it, I knew I needed another one. I love that the wood causes no static like plastic bristles. And the brush has some “give” in it so no harsh tugging on tangles. And you feel like you’re getting a nice scalp massage every time you use it. It’s definitely my favorite daily brush.

Specify sizes of the ovla brushes please
The brush was larger than the last one i obught. I returned it. It would be very useful to have both the bigger and smaller oval brushes appear when searching, so that one can see that there are two different sizes! Please specify size on the heading.the small oval bursh is wonderful, gives a great head massage when brushing and perfect size for traveling. i bought one for my Mom in South Africa and she loves hers as well!

Feels good to use, lasts forever, easy on hair.
This is replacing my 25-year-old Bass brush that finally started dying. They're just the best: gentle on hair, feels good to use, well made, and lasts forever. Well, lasts 25 years. Unfortunately this one arrived with 4 broken bristles but I'm keeping it anyway. They aren't packaged well enough to withstand rough handling I guess: my old brush never broke; just started losing bristles after 25 years.

Love this brush!
If you're not using bamboo brushes yet, you need to make the switch. I know this brand is a bit pricier than some others you might see, but it is definitely worth it. This brush is perfect and it feels so good. My hair also loves it.

A kinky natural hair must have!
Update: This brush is still the bomb.com for ease of use and lack of snagging but I regret to inform you that it has no effect on single strand knots. However, it does help with split ends. I still highly recommend this brush after years of usage.Past review: I'm black with kinky curly hair that ranges from waves and marker sized 3b/c curls all the way to small 4a/b ringlets the size of the spring in the inside of a pen. I even have quarter sized spots of 4c curls just above each ear, so I have the full gambit of kinky textures. This brush kind of combs through my natural hair like a Denman brush without all the closely spaced fine teeth that cause split ends and snags. It is also similar to a paddle brush, b/c I can brush in larger sections but there are no balls to snag on or wrap around. The wooden bristles are bigger and farther apart, making it the best of both worlds regarding combs and brushes. I still like finger detangling most days b/c I heard tools can cause damage to fragile curly hair but I'll report back after prolonged wash day use, to say if I have less single strand knots and no signs of increased split ends. I got both of these issues from using paddle and Denman brushes. So far it feels like I won't have these issues as there is NO snagging. Every curly kinky haired girl needs to give this a try. You do still have to do front and back combing on thick hair so the bristles could be longer but then maybe they'd snap so.... hmmm, maybe not. With products and water in, it's a bit slippery. I may upgrade to the bigger ball less paddle one but this just great! For you straight or wavy thick haired ladies, if it can handle my super thick curly kinky past waist length hair, it will work like a dream in yours.
