I am not going to lie i tried to push the stand over with the PlayStation on it and all it did was move a tiny bit so i laughed. I will say this you can sit the PlayStation 3 right into the center of the stand and with nothing attached to the stand it will keep the PS3 locked in really good and it will not allow the PS3 to slide backward and forward easily but i will also say be careful how you pick it up with the PlayStation on the stand for with enough push your PlayStation can come falling down like The egg that had a great fall.lol Over all great product my PS3 is also standing Vertical along side my PS4 waiting for my PlayStation 5 to arrive 1 day.

It's getting difficult to find PS3 accessories anymore, let alone for the original ‘Slim’ chassis. This off-brand stand was inexpensive and fits well, and it's seemingly the only such product on Amazon anymore. I didn't experience any of the tightness reported by other reviewers. Two inset rubberized pads run the length of the underside to prevent scratching and sliding, with no adhesive feet to eventually fall off. The only downside is that our kitten is bummed she can’t sleep on the Playstation anymore ;)

If you have a compatible model ps3 slim, you would know it's quite wobbly without some kind of support stand. That said, what most want to ask for, for what is basically a hunk of specifically molded plastic, is dumb. Unless it has extra features (I've seen a couple that included a USB hub for instance), I see no point spending any more than necessary for one of these. It can still tip with some effort, but it's a lot more stable to have it vertically with this stand.If you were looking for something like this to keep it steady against an active cat, for instance, or a nosy toddler, then I would suggest a wall mount with more considerable bracing. For my present use case, this does the job.

Not much to say. I needed a way to vertically balance by PS3 and this piece of plastic does the job. Hasn't tipped over yet, fits my model and helps open up some space. Win win.

One of the worst purchases. Bought as a gift. Arrived in damaged package, box was completely torn, looked like it was used and returned. Dust and stain on the item inside of the package box. Quality was just OK. For the money I paid I expected something better in quality and quality control. Avoid buying.

There is a foam strip in the stand that helps fasten the console in place. However, mine was a little too thick or had some extra piece sticking out which makes the console slide out. It still stands perfectly fine and it's up on a shelf away from any pets or foot traffic, and I'm pretty sure the thing won't fall short of someone pushing it over. It's just not perfectly locked in.
