Robelle 3524-4 Pool Cover for Winter, Super, 24 ft Above Ground Pools

The is extra large as stated with the additional tarp on the edges. I had two people help me put the cover on the pool and then add the cable. Zero issues.This is not the thickest - but would cost another $100 dollars so this is good for the money.

I initially used the cheap black pool cover that the local pool store included with the pool purchase and then replaced it after it failed after one or (at best) two seasons. There were always tears or, by the second season, grommets torn out of the edges, and the cover basically not keeping things out of the pool making the pool opening 10x harder (because of all the stuff in the water).Not with this cover! This cover is fantastic. It cost half again as much as the cheap black cover but is 100x better. Seriously. Nothing got into my pool this winter - I pulled the cover off and the water was as clear as when I put it on. No tears anywhere, no sunlight through any of it, every grommet around the edge like when it came out of the package - it is like a thick plastic tarp. It looks the same when I removed it as it did when I installed it.When I bought it, I thought I'd be ahead of the game if I got two seasons out of it. If it keeps up like it has this first season, I'll be getting way more than that. Get the Ultra - it's worth every penny.

After reading the reviews though, it looks like even those only last a few seasons!!

Bought this in Sept 2020 and is finally starting to show a little wear. It appears to be getting a little thin close to the edge, likely from the stress of being pulled around the pool edge. It doesn't have any holes that I can see though. I've never had a cover last more than 2 years before this one. Debating whether I should try for a 5th year or go ahead and buy another. I purchased the "premium" one which could be why it lasted longer. We also haven't had a very snowy winter the last few years in Southern PA.

Pay attention to & believe all of the 1-star reviews, this company’s warranty is equally as garbage as their pool cover is. If you take a chance because there’s a warranty…all of the ridiculous fine print, actual terms & conditions this company will present as soon as you contact them, and they will weasel around whatever failures their piece of junk pool cover has created for you.My cover is barely 2 years in to a supposed 15 year warranty…and a total wreck. I sent my receipt copy & photos to document the claim, and the company replied right away…verbatim: “You are now eligible for a 70% discount off the current MSRP on the cover, plus shipping. This cover currently has an MSRP of $109.99. You would be responsible for $33. Shipping would be $25. All in under warranty the replacement would be $58. Please note the cover wouldn't have a new warranty and the warranty would continue from the original purchase date.”Seriously?! I am supposed to buy another cover but keep the balance of remaining warranty from the original purchase date? Using MSRP pricing? Plus shipping? This is a warranty??? When I bought this cover, it cost $60.01 plus tax, shipping was free. It was described as "solid material will not let water pass through", and "extra heavy-duty 12x12 scrim...polyethylene", and included a 15 year warranty. My purchase was made based on features & price this company advertised on Amazon. Did I think the cover would actually last 15 years or more? No, but it was warrantied nonetheless, right? Certainly it should've lasted more than 2 seasons!I argued with the company that my cover is 2 years & 60 days old based on my purchase date -not the ship date, not the delivery date, and not the install date, nor the date which I emailed for a claim. My cover is not solid, rather more of a screen that's disintegrated & 99.99% of it allows water to pass through, and doesn't function at all for its intended as advertised purpose. Nowhere in the as advertised description does it stipulate warranty nuances, or using percentages of MSRP's -that are not shown- or shipping charges. I even sent a screenshot of Amazon’s current listing as of that day for the cover (identical to my original cover: now $65.40 plus tax, and free shipping...with a 15 year warranty. It doesn't show MSRP's anywhere, there are no shipping charges. The company then offered me a lower price, to which I countered again, as did they. They ended at $40 as a “courtesy” to me. And I had to ask myself, why? Why are they not fully standing behind their advertised product/warranty? Why would I pay them a second time for garbage & a joke warranty?Don't waste your time, money or sanity on this pool cover. Not once, and definitely not twice.

I ordered this cover for my 24 ft round pool. I find myself buying a cover every year because even the most expensive covers end up ripping against the pool over the windy winter.This cover was plenty large enough to come down on the sides and went on easily.Once on, however, I discovered a seam that was not heat sealed, and I had an 11 inch hole in the cover. I put duct tape on it, but I don’t think it will hold.I certainly did not expect to have a “holey” cover right out of the box!Too late to return it. I hope I get through the winter.Apparently, the company doesn’t inspect their product very well.

Very Durable, great fit, 30' round cover. The original cover that came with my pool package was destroyed in one winter. This cover has been used three winters and is now on my pool for the fourth Michigan winter. I had to replace the cable ratchet but the cover is still going strong, and I don't take good care of it. I rarely pump water off it, it is always covered in ice, and at the end of the year I just stuff it into a tote in my barn and pull it out the next year.

This winter cover is great!! We read instructions and it said to let the cover lay on the water. Also it has small holes so the rain water can drain into the pool. The wind blew really hard and the cover stayed on.Very please with the material and the cover size overall I would recommend this pool cover

I've only had this cover for a few months but it seems like good quality material.

I just closed up my above ground pool and the cover was easy to work with and to “install”.

Very durable but not when the bears ripped it off to get a sip of water from our pool. The second time the racoon got to it to get a sip of water too! I guess with the drought all wildlife are thirsty? So here we are on our 2nd pool cover within a week. Thank goodness it is easy to install and ordering it from Amazon.

Came as described and is doing the job. will monitor for durability after the winter season here in Canada to see how it looks and how many seasons we can get from it.
