I ordered this costume after halloween last year when it was on the after Halloween sale. I, immediately upon receiving it, was impressed with the quality of the costume. Unfortunately, it was a size to big. I recommend you call and order it and find out the chest size on their definition of Small, Medium or Large to Extra Large. I called up and they helped me return the too big costume for the right size which was shipped to me a week later. I am very pleased with this costume. It is a very strikingly good-looking costume to say the least. The gloves are very nice and fit well. The gold plastic belt is really nice also. The black spandex type material of the costume is very form fitting and light weight. The cape is of very good quality and hangs just right like you would expect a Batman Cape to hang. The plastic chest plate is very well designed and again has great eye appeal. It is shiny just like in the picture they show you online. My only thing I noticed that was a little off in the fit is that the top of the black soft plastic chest plate is square at the top of each shoulder and sticks up a bit past ones shoulder. They really should have made it a rounded edge at the two top edges of your left and right shoulder. I imagine if you wore the costume around the house to brake it in they may lay down a little better. But most people will not take the time and just want to take the costume out of their closet and just wear it immediately to go to an event. My little nephew and niece come over every year to our house to Trick or Treat and this coming Halloween I, like any good uncle would, am going to surprise them when I answer the door in this Batman Costume. They have never seen me dressed up before and I know they are both Batman fans and will greatly enjoy it. I highly recommend this costume and I hope you have a great Halloween or costume party you attend anytime of the year. And always remember that the real fun is the day after Halloween when you say to everybody you met "Hey, Halloweens over you can take off the Mask".

Costume seems to be decent quality but the size is huge. I am about 205lbs and ordered the small which was way too big. At 5'9 the height seemed to be fine but I probably needed another 20-30 lbs to fill out the shirt. The Mask is really well made but again way to big. My hat size is fairly small at 7 1/4 but I think even a big head would have trouble filling out this mask. One of the gloves also has a seam opening up which I would have had to gotten fixed prior to wearing. So .... while the quality is ok for such an expensive costume, you would have to be shaped like The Pengiun and have a giant head to make this costume fit.

Much better quality than what I expected based on the price and other comments. The biggest plus is that the pants are separate from the top. This makes bio-breaks much easier!I was worried about the fit. I'm 175 lbs and 5'11, 42" chest, 32" waist, and typically wear a size 15 1/2 slim cut shirt. I ordered a small and the fit is pretty good. So my guess that the sizes run large was correct. I can thank previous reviewers for that. I will need to place some foam in the chest area but that's it as far as the top goes. The belt and other accessories feel pretty robust. The pants are long and have close feet but you can easily tuck and fold them or cut them to size. The cape is magnificent and authentic looking.I've read that many have had trouble with the mask. It is big but mainly from the eye openings to the top. Simply stuffing in some filler above your head should do the trick. The dimensions from the eye openings to the nose and chin fit me well. However, I do have a large head.The only negative I see is the weight and warmth of the outfit. It is hot and heavy. I can only hope for cold Halloween outings.

So this morning, I put it on for my work Halloween costume contest…1. The size I got was Medium…um…maybe for a medium sized linebacker…2. The pants have footies…not sure why on that one, but when put them on with my shoes, it pulled the pants down…Batman could not have fought anyone with his pants down around his ankles I believe…3. The top, has this “breastplate” made of rubber, bonded to the spandex? top…somehow it just means it will make you sweat a lot, and it too was baggy like the pants…my version of batman looks like a black Clint Eastwood with no shirt on…4. The mask, too is made of rubber, and grabbed my hair…oh and the little bat pointy things? They are bent and make it look like Batman might have been sleeping in the bushes at the on ramp to I-45 near downtown…homeless Batman?5. The boots are actually, shoe covers and when attached to the shoes, each step you take causes them to flip up over the shoes and thus my feet resemble an oiled duck from a crude spill somewhere in the arctic…As a result, I have worn my racing suit to work, complete with the helmet and gloves…on I-10 today, people where giving me the thumbs up, so I suspect my costume for tomorrow will be…THE STIG!
