What in the world is this???
The media could not be loaded. Been playing guitar for 31 years, and have never received a guitar like this. I bought it used, in very good condition. The box was badly damaged when it was dropped off at my house. But everything inside seemed OK. There was plenty of scratches, something I could have overlooked easily if it played good. I'm hoping that someone that had it before me and adjusted the truss rod so tight, that literally no fret on any during was playable before the 8th or 9th fret. I say I hope, because I certainly hope it wasn't shipped from the factory this way. The humbuckers were very crooked meaning one side of the pickup was at least 1/8" inch higher than the other side. Watch my video to hear how this sounded when I first played it. I can't believe the neck didn't snap. Holy moly. The poorest quality control I've ever seen. No wonder it was marked down $100. I really wanted to like this guitar because it's absolutely beautiful! Some day I would like to try a new one or one that actually had quality control. This is not the one. I never leave poor reviews, but I couldn't help this. Maybe this was just a one off, but it was a big one

An honest review
The guitar was shipped and arrived before the expected date. Packing by the seller was very good. There was no damage to the guitar at all in shipping. What should be expected when you get this to one extent or another is that setup will be required. In my case, full setup was needed. Truss rod, saddle adjustments and intonation. Intonation was not wildly off but did need tweaking particularly after other adjustments. The frets were incredibly dirty and cleaning of the frets and fretboard were needed. The fretwork was not stellar. There are imperfections throughout most of the frets. If I upgrade things on this guitar, I would replace the neck over having a new fret job depending on cost. All of that said. The neck is comfortable and the body style and color are very nice. The pickups are totally fine for a beginner but an upgrade would benefit the guitar as you progress. The tremolo bar required spring adjustments but it works well. Again, it's an economy guitar with economy hardware. The tuners can be a little stiff but they hold tuning well.I would say this guitar is appropriately priced, no huge bargain but with setup and new strings, this is a fun guitar to play that sounds good and looks good.

Beautiful to look at, terrible to play. Don't bother with this one, EVEN with free returns...
The quality control at the Indonesian factory is terrible on this guitar. The nut was poorly made or installed, so that the high e string kept slipping off the neck. Once I got that taken care of, the top of the bridge was too sharp, so THAT had to be fixed. Once I got all that taken care of and tried to play the thing, it wouldn't stay in tune. I am currently looking for a 2-point tremolo that will fit the AX3-FM without mods, but its specifications are SO uncommon, that nothing works. Save yourself the time and heartache, and don't even bother trying this one.
