Very good wire nuts, work across a large number of wire sizes and number of wires. I use these a lot!
I muse have gone through about 1,000,000 wire nuts of various types. These are some of the better ones and I really like their flexibility in the types and sizes of wire they work with. The internal spring on these seems to have a very good "bite" and works as is supposed to almost every single time. They do not take up more box space than any comparable wire nut; the "red" GB's are a tad bit skinnier since they lack the yellow "boot" but as a practical matter it doesn't make any difference in box capacity. I buy these in bulk packaging and the only thing I run into is that every once in a while I hit one where the spring is loose or just not built right and it either falls out or isn't there at all. That's pretty rare but I don't notice it until I'm in a spot where it's a pain to switch it out. Still, these are really good overall and I highly recommend them.All told I think these are probably the very best wire nuts that come at a reasonable price.

Significant enhancement to the wire nut
I would be the first to admit that they new format may or may not make a difference. However, i have been extremely please with the product and have only praise to heap upon them. The connections i have made are absolutely solid and when these are used in conjunction with the ideal bit the connections are absolutely bulletproof.I like the soft wings and until they catch on i can easily identify my work whether it has slipped my mind or not.

Great product, not as pictured though.
These are awesome wire nuts, however; the ones in the picture are not what you are receiving. You’ll be receiving the tan and red wire nuts.

Incorrect description of materials
30-644J is the red/tan not red/yellow wire nuts in the picture. The red yellow (pictured) is 30-1347JBoth are great products, the yellow one is rated for more/larger size wires

Not cheap but worth the price.
I have been an electrician for 27 years and have used a variety of wire nuts. Although,as others have mentioned, these wire nuts can take up some volume in a j-box, they are easy on the fingers and accept a wide range of wire sizes. They can also accommodate more wire than a comparable red wire nut.
