KAT VON D Lock-it Foundation, 47 Light Neutral (light biscuit) SM1975

I really like this foundation. It is very full coverage and it is tacky so it stays on. It matches my skin perfectly. I would give it 5 stars but I am not because it has a play-doh smell. If they could improve the smell without compromising the formula, it would be worthy of 5 stars! I bought the 44 light cool shade. I also have rosacea and there is no redness after applying this foundation.

I have used this makeup for quite a while and find it good to cover blemishes. It does rub off easier than I would like even if I use make-up setting spray. I did have a problem with one bottle out of probably eight that completely fell apart the first time I tried to use it but Amazon replaced it with no problem.

I only use this for certain occasions but it’s my go-to for long lasting makeup. Note: I always use primer when applying.

The product is great- good coverage and flawless look, just need proper shade.I would recommend testing the shades in a store like Ulta or Sephora first. I guessed for my desired shade, assuming I could use lighter highlight to blend to my natural tones. The color was much darker and a different tone- altogether not a color match. An important color match for proper shades like this should not be guessed/ assumed. You’ll be pleased once you test the shades first!

I always buy this from Sephora or Ulta for the same price. I was happy to find it here for a few dollars less because they were sold out.

I love that it covers everything that u want 2 cover up and it stays on longer then most foundation I've tried.

if you’re looking for a matte, full coverage foundation- i can’t rave about this enough. while yes, the price point may be high to some, this retails for at least $40 at Sephora so finding it here for less was perfect. i do recommend using a primer but it’s not an absolute must. i tend to a bit on the oily side especially in my t-zone, but since this is pretty matte i don’t have any issues with the oil breaking through. the coverage is AMAZING. covers redness like magic and i’ve tried using other foundations but i always find myself returning to this.
