The quality was as with all Fontinini pieces is very nice. I didn’t care for the wide base.

Shipping was the problem, not the item. Two boxed collectible items were shipped in a large bag. One box was crushed (item was okay) but part of the collectability of the item is having a box in good condition.

I bought this to add to my Nativity. The quality is what you would expect from this brand. It is GREAT!!! Well made; coloring is really good. Overall worth the buy.

Another piece for my nativity set! I have been on the hunt for years to find a nativity set that was worthy of the hand carved stable my grandfather made for me. These Fontanini pieces are just the right size and absolutely beautiful! The detail is amazing. They appear to be made out of some sort of polymer which is perfect for me as I have two mischievous cats, but you would never know from outward appearances. They definitely look to be ceramic at first glance. I am looking forward to expanding my nativity set year after year with the numerous pieces that are available in the set.

Donkey well made, but it’s eye wasn’t painted very well - Black dot in eye misplaced, and it looks like it is drunk! No big deal though, it sits in the back of Nativity set, so only noticeable if it is picked up.

I like laying down. Some people think my legs are broken but I just like laying down. Don’t hate me for it. After all, when you see something as spectacular as I have you don’t need to see anything else. Maybe except for giants trying to play me me. I don’t like food either so please don’t try to feed me.

Needed the farmyard animals, and the donkey is the beginning piece. It worked well, was the size I needed, and complimented my nativity.
