Yes, the kids couldn't figure this one out, and I couldn't do it without looking at the solution. Even knowing the solution, it does take s little practice to get it right. Bottom line: it's a great puzzle

The puzzle design is great but the manufacturing of the parts is sloppy. The wooden parts could have a better tolerance. But for a desk toy it will be just fine. Made in China like so many things are. The ball has scratched the paint up

This puzzle is not sturdy at all. It came basically already solved because one of the metal pieces was completely bent and there was no way to fix it or reset it to play at all. This was a gift to my boyfriend and I was so disappointed to see that he couldn't play with it in any form.

Bought this for my boyfriend. He loved it. He still hasn't solved it.

people will complain that it is too easy to solve because you can unscrew the nut, although that is a bad design by the creators, you can always just super glue the nut on, also it's not the correct way to solve it. 4 stars because the nut falls off when trying to solve it, but could just be user error

The instructions come with how to solve the 'puzzle', which relies on a trick involving a hidden magnet to solve instead of using logic, reasoning, spatial awareness, etc. You basically have to know how to solve it to solve it. Additionally, mine was constructed in a way that even following the directions and getting to the point to where I should be able to take the ball out, there's still not enough room to make it happen. Two stars because it's constructed using quality parts and is sturdy.

Great present for adults gave as Christmas gift and the whole family had fun with it..
