JanSport Big Student Classics Series Backpack - Blue Streak

I loved Jansport in the past for its heavy duty quality. To be fair most of their quality standards are still the same...heavy stitching and heavy canvas-like material but I am really disappointed with my 2018 Jansport purchase here as I loved their honkin heavy duty zippers as compared to cheap packs in the past. The reason I am disappointed is seen in this comparison photo as their new overall zipper size track is reduced by 1/3 as seen in my photo of my same school pack I have had till this one. The part that seems to wear out the fastest on cheaper packs has been added to these new packs.

JANSPORTS BACKPACKS ARE THE TOP OF THE LINE IN MY BOOKI HAVE USED THEM FOR 20 PLUS YEARS NOW AND THEY SPECTACULARTHE MATERIAL IS TOUGH AND RUGGED.THE ZIPPERS ARE JUST AS RUGGED AND DON'T FAIL LIKE OTHERS DO.YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH STUFF YOU CAN FIT INTO ONE.LIKE AN 18 PACK OF BEER - 12OZ. JanSport is an excellent supplier of backpacks. These packs can last for a long time. The big student version gives a lot of room for the student who is carrying around a lot of books. My Kiddo is an honors student in HS now, and when it was time to purchase a new book bag he stated he wanted the one just like he already had, because it could hold all his stuff. I did get a different color than last time, I thought he would like the blue. His last one (black) he's had since 6th grade and he's now halfway through tenth, the pack is still in good condition, there are no tears just the normal scruff/wear that a kid puts a back through. I sent $40 on his pack in 6th grade and we got five years of use out of it, I expect this new back to last through college. Before I would get a cheaper bookbag and would end up having to replace it, the bag not lasting through one school year. It's worth the extra money for quality.

Being a junior in high school, I have to carry A LOT of notebooks, folders, binders, etc. I love this backpack. The color is awesome, but it is overall a great backpack. It holds all of my folders and notebooks, a binder, and books. It is very sturdy, especially considering all it carries around everyday. I love the multiple pockets it has, especially the little pocket at the top of the front view. I call it my 'snack' pocket as it can hold little snacks, but also I like to put my car keys, phone, and some pencils in there as well. The backpack has very sturdy straps and is pretty comfortable (as comfortable as an extremely heavy backpack can be). I definitely would recommend.

Really nice vibrant color! Very roomy too! I was kind of expecting the bottom to be lined like the Jansports usually are especially with the original price listed, but we did get a good discount from that. My kid is pretty rough on his backpacks so hopefully it'll last him a while. Lots of pockets, really nice padded straps & the back is padded pretty well also, everything else is good. It is missing a zipper pull on the main pocket, but we can just buy a decorative one to put on it, those are fun anyway! Thanks for the fast shipping & good packaging.

Jansport backpacks are well worth the money. Child #5 started preschool and this is his backpack. Yes, it's big on him, but if this is like the other backpacks I've bought for his older siblings, he'll be using this for the next 8 - 10 years and will be glad of a big backpack when he hits middle school. My oldest son's Jansport lasted from preschool to the end of 8th grade. My 7th, 4th and 1st graders all have their original Jansports (in fact my 1st grader has a hand me down from a friend who used it throught 4 years of college - I ran it through the washing machine to help it look like new).

This is a big backpack! Appears to be good quality, have had it for a couple months now and it's still in great condition. It's just what my 8th grader needed! His old one was falling apart from all the textbooks, school supplies, and trapper keeper being crammed into it. I usually go through 2 or 3 back packs a year and I'm hoping this is the year I won't have to do that. I'm amazed that this even fits his chromebook and his lunchbag on top of everything else he crams in it. Will update near the end of the school year if anything changes. So far, we love it.

THIS BACKPACK IS SERIOUSLY SO GREAT! Someone left a review showing how many books this bad boy can fit in it. And so we ordered it. In a BEAUTIFUL electric blue! Man, I gasped when I opened the box....it is a really lovely color. Very vibrant. Anyway - this backpack did NOT disappoint. It is HUGE. And well - it's a JanSport. So it will likely last through the years my daughter is in college. We got it for her for her freshman year (starting in a couple weeks....eek) and we are really really happy with it!

Arrived within the timeframe, looks great and good quality perfect for students with that aesthetic look. I even managed to cut off the ends of the backpack straps then re-thread them through the hooks to give that cool strapless backpack look so that is possible with this backpack.

I love the size of the this pack and the quality is great. My son was really stuck on the blue color and this one was the only one available so I paid more than I should have but at least its was what I wanted. Buying straight from JanSport would have saved some cash.

Los materiales y la calidad es la propia de la marca (buenas y de batalla), es amplia pero y es una cuestión de gusto hubiera preferido que el compartimento principal no fuera pegado a la espalda, sino que el compartimiento secundario estuviera pegado a la espalda para poder transportar con mayor comodidad una laptop. Su mayor virtud la amplitud y el número de cierres y compartimentos. Ojo: es amplia pero no es voluminosa.
