Surprisingly nice
I've been obsessed astronomy for quite some time now, and I can say that this telescope is not that bad, sure, the price might be higher than it should be, but it's exactly what is advertised, the only problem I found with it was that the first time I bought it, these was a missing lens. Although I changed it and everything was okay, no need to pay extra shipping tax and it was alright. So overall a nice product.

Overpriced for ability and performance
Its worth only if you actually really want to assemble a telescope. Otherwise why buy this for $70 instead of a Celestron 70mm travelscope(twice the aperture area) for $80 , and includes tripod, diagonal and much better eyepieces for $80 ?If you do want to build it, and experiment with it - and it is fun to do that - then get a cheap 10mm Celestron Plossl or svbony or gso for $10-15, and a 2x barlow. And paint the internals with a non-reflective black paint especially the focuser tube its terrible. It will completely transform the performance of this telescope.Tip on focusing - it is hard to focus but the trick is to twist the focuser tube while pushing/pulling it to focus. This will make it easy to move the tube. A little lube compound on the tube won't hurt either.Have fun!
