Ingersoll Rand 47708908001 P1.5IU-A9-H Garagemate 20 Gallon Horizontal Air Compressor

It was delivered by truck on a pallet. We unboxed the compressor and found that it was boxed extremely well to avoid damage in shipping. We put on the rear wheels, air filters and supplied synthetic oil. Compressor is obviously well made with heavy metal parts including the belt guard. Very happy with my purchase and glad I did not get sucked into buying a china POS with better reviews.

Excellent Compressor and Portable Too

Looks like a nice compressor but it arrived damaged - cylinder head had cooling fins snapped off and pressure relief valve had been pushed into fan housing which was dented. Tried to resolve with ingersoll Rand - left messages twice with support, and waited on support line for > 1 hour. Gave up and returned via Amazon.

Owners manual is terrible, no adjustments, (cutoff pressure etc) illustrations are for something else. Basically useless. Tank drain valve hits ground before completely opened and poorly positioned, and gauges face in wrong direction making them hard to see.

I can't say much except it preforms as advertised.

Great compressor, easy to assemble and it runs great.

Originally meant for light duty, tires and nail guns. It’s very capable of basic air tools. Die grinders, impact wrenches, 3” cutoff wheels, air socket sets. Has really increased weekend warrior garage work. Not running and haven’t tried paint guns yet, but for small tools it’s more than adequate

I'm satisfied with the product. It was damaged in shipping. Amazon corrected the issue. I was not able to contact the supplier. Everything turned out positive. Thank you.
