I have two dry rubs - one for pork, one for brisket. These work perfect for evenly applying the rub to meat

I use mine at the stove to pepper my eggs in the morning. It holds quite a bit of pepper and does a good job propagating it over the eggs.

Rattle rattle, flavor flavor....Just like in the restaurants this metal shaker can withstand a high heat environment. I use mine for my griddle top and have no issues setting it down next to high heat or temporarily on the griddle. Yes, you can dent it but it is thin SS so what do you expect. The threads are of a coarse angle so the salt\pepper can get stuck between. This is only a problem when you open it for a refill. Don't assume taking the lid off carefully will not result in spices falling out.

Perfect for my need

We used ours for powdered sugar, cinnamon and chocolate powder for our coffee shop! They're cute, easy to keep clean and would make effective salt and pepper shakers. Though I do think the salt would come out very fast so would maybe want to cover 2/3 of the holes if using salt.

Super nice and Functional

Love the size and shape of these Salt & Pepper shakers. They hold a lot of salt and pepper. They are very easy to use. Good Value. I like the stainless steel appearance.However, if you’re using Himalayan or Celtic sea salt it will begin to rust in the bottom from moisture. I used a plastic sandwich bag to line it and refill it.
