BEANS NEVER COOKED - noted the expiration date on the package
I had started making red beans and rice, had all the ingredients in my pot (andouille sausage, ham, chicken stock, onions pepper, etc) and added the beans to the pot. After 6 hours, the beans NEVRE softened. The bags had expiration date of 2020 stamped which I didn't notice until after the fact. The whole pot ruined and was unedible. NO excuse. Never again. Almost $14 for beans You should be ashamed

I had read that this brand beans were the best. I made Red Beans and Rice for my family and they loved it. This recipe will be on rotation at our house. I don't know if it was this brand of beans, or the recipe, but I will not mess with success

Need for authentic red beans and rice
All real recipes for New Orleans red beans and rice call for these small beans. In the past I was forced to use kidney beans..... Not now. These are the real deal.
