These nails hold well in soil. It’s amazing to me as I figured they would just pop out. The length is reason. I cannot makes my special place outside perfect! I even gave my father in law this set as when I ordered an outside rug I got a set. He was ready to take his outdoor rug up until I gave him this set!Thank you!

The metal Gromit that goes on the end makes these perfect for holding down ground covers and rugs when camping. We got a new set after about 50 uses because rocks bent a couple of the spikes but it is very rocky where we camp and no stakes hold up well. We never had the wind lift our large camping rug (24x12). You get six stakes so you can do the four corners and the middle to prevent tripping.

These are very handy to keep your outdoor RV mat from blowing away. I have hammered them into a rocky ground with little problems. A few have slightly bent from the stones in the ground but they are very strong and durable. Be sure to have a claw hammer to assist in removing them. This has been a multi purchase for me.
