I actually bought both. Wrap was great. No complaints. I’ve bought large and small bubble. I use the large for mirrors and delicate pieces and small for everything else. No problem with seller

Q: is it slightly adhesive? does it feel a little tacky?

The foam has a slight tacky feeling to it.

Q: Such diversity of reviews of high & low quality rolls - why? will i get a quality roll that won't rip as i'm unrolling it, and be a true, 1/16" ?

I bought it, I am an amateur so I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between quality. I wrapped stuff up in foam sheets, and it protected it. All at a fraction of the cost you can buy small rolls at the store. It’s definitely foam wrap. It is perforated every 12” so maybe that’s what they are talking about it ripping??? I thought this to be a plus. No cutting.
