The Redshift Sports Quick-Release Aerobars let you transform your road bike into an aerodynamic triathlon machine. The clip-on aerobars attach or remove in seconds (without using any tools), letting you convert from road to aero positions at a moment's notice. Going for a group ride or a local road race? Remove the aerobars to ride a pure road bike. Doing a triathlon or long charity ride? Attach the aerobars and ride a comfortable aero position. The patent-pending quick-release clamp locks the aerobars securely in the same position every time you attach them, and the integrated safety retention mechanism ensures that the bars stay locked in place until you decide to remove them. A huge range of adjustability lets you dial in your ideal aero position. Easily change pad width and extension reach, and choose between multiple extension shapes to match your riding style. Together with the Redshift Sports Dual-Position Seatpost (sold separately), the Quick-Release Aerobars give you a truly integrated aero position, without compromising your normal road setup. The optional computer mount and water bottle mount (both sold separately) integrate seamlessly with the aerobars, letting you carry all of your gear effortlessly. The aerobars are constructed from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. They are compatible with 26.0mm (shims sold separately) and 31.8 mm handlebar diameters, and require 22 mm (7/8 inch) of straight cylindrical clamping length on either side of the bicycle stem. The aerobars weigh 630 g (S-bend extensions) or 640 g (L-bend extensions) including the handlebar clamps. Riser Kit sold separately for stack height adjustability.

Difficult to install, don't tighten well
First - be aware that unlike most things that mount on your handlebars, these don't come with shims. They are $10 extra. Personally I think they are expensive enough already. Also note you can only put these on and take them off from the outside so if you have lights, computers, or anything else on the handle bars these probably won't work for you. You need at least 65mm of uncluttered handlebar on either side to get these on or off.I 3-D printed some 2mm shims to raise the aerobars which allows me to remove them to the center. This allows me to put lights, computers, etc on the handlebars.I cannot get mine to tighten enough. I have tightened the bolts all the way but the aerobars still move up and down too easily. I had to cut the bands off two hose clamps to shim the shims. I should not have to work this hard to make an expensive pair of aerobars actually usable. They are a good concept and the engineering is good but the design and price let it down badly.

Highly recommend
I am super happy with this purchase. I just used them for my first 70.3. They are great for being able to remove easily and adjust. My bike guy commented on what nice bars they are. I am super happy with this purchase. I didnalso purchase the risers as I am new to the aero position and needed to be a little less aggressive. Glad I did since these do not come with them but they were definitely needed

easy to put on and very adjustable
placed these on a niner I'm using on a trainer in quarantine (deployed overseas, limited space/weight/cube for multiple bikes). Gets me the forward, time trial position, I'm used to on my tri bike, yet removes quickly for heading to work or riding trails.

Incredible
I wish I bought these years ago. I'm training for my first triathlon now and I couldn't have picked a better product. Seemingly infinitely adjustable and super easy to pop on and off. Love them. I never leave reviews but really just had to here. Their customer service is spectacular too.

Great product!
While the directions were not super great, now that they are attached, I love these aero bars. Very sturdy and you can adjust the elbow cups to fit comfortably.

Great! Get a torque wrench for installation
I have had them for less than two months, and so far they are great. I have taken them for several rides, and pefect. For the initial set up I highly recommend that you have a torque wrench, so you can tighten to proper specifications. Once the set is done, putting them on, taking them off is very eary. Most importantly, they feel very secured and safe. For comprehensive review I recoomend that visit the blog of DCRainmaker (...)

Love it on my S works carbon fiber road bike
Love it on my S works carbon fiber road bike. When you lean forward and grab the aero bars you get about 2-3 miles per hour faster with out extra effort because of the wind your chest and body are not catching.

Empfehlenswert
