Looks great on our dog and love the sturdy seat belt style buckle.

When I opened the package and saw the collar I was so excited. It looks great and I love the heavy duty old school buckle. I put the collar on my dog, looked at it and thought I put it on upside down. I turned it around and it still looked upside down. That's when I realized that the emblem on the collar is reverse to the emblem on the buckle. So either way it looks like the collar is upside down. I love the collar but am debating whether the inconsistency will drive me crazy.

I've always loved the buckle style belts so I was excited when I saw the buckle collars. I have a smaller dog, around 15 pounds, so I debated about which collar to get after reading some reviews about it being heavy. My dog is pretty sturdily built so in the end I went with the 1" collar. I love it! She doesn't have any problem with the weight and the collar fits perfectly.It is well made and I've had no problems with the latch. The colors are vibrant and match well with the harness I got her.I do agree that the ring is pretty thick. I like that it's sturdy but I had a hard time getting her tag on it. Hence the loss of a star.

The collar itself is made well. I like the buckle, it works nicely. My issue is the sizing. I have a medium sized dog with a neck about 16 or 17 inches. I first ordered the collar in medium (11-17) and had it expanded as far as it would go, so I returned it so there would be a little room to grow. I then ordered large (15-26) and it is tightened as far as it can go. The overlapping material makes a loop that sticks out (they don't have that little elastic strap to hold it together like most collars do). Also the D ring is a little thick, it makes it very hard to put tags on with one of those spiral key chains. They need to make more sizes, there shouldn't be such a big jump from medium to large.

This is our new favorite collar for our dog. Its easy to clip on and off and is very good quality. I was a little nervous when I bought it, thought the buckle would be cheap, but we remove the collar every night and put it back on the next morning. It works just like a seat belt buckle. I would have given it 5 stars, but its a little hard to adjust and because the buckle is made of metal and gets hot in the sun. It was never hot enough to burn our dog, but I'm old enough to remember hot metal seat belt buckles in cars.

Love this collar! The clasp is dependable in all weather conditions (Nova Scotia, Canada) - in the ocean, swamps, snow, and forest without fail. Original (4 years) has hardly faded and hasn't frayed or worn. My black and white male Dalmatian has the Batman collar, my liver and white female Dalmatian has the Wonder Woman collar. Highly recommend these collars and arrived earlier than expected.

I love Buckle Down brand collars. My dog exclusively wears it now. The buckle type closure is easy to put on and take off. It's come in handy when I've needed to quickly remove it from my dog during an emergency. There are so many cool styles to choose from as well. They have styles to celebrate holidays, super heroes, cartoon characters, sports, and any other interests. The colors are vibrant and I always get compliments from having such a snazzingly dressed pooch.

Great collar! The buckle stays matched securely and the collar is sturdy and easy to adjust. My pup loves the self confidence boost she gets when walking around with her collar on.
