Fit is good. A little thicker than the original. We have had it in our 1966 Mustang for a little over a year now. engine runs much cooler now in the Florida heat. I rarely give five stars.

I like the fact it has greater volume than the original one for my 1966 v-8 mustang 289. It doesn’t leak and was a turn key fit Hose fittings were same as original. Only one down side is radiator cap…very small I think I’ve found a replacement…from Honda radiator not sure. We’ll figure that out later if I need to replace it. Priced to sell no complaints yet

This fit great in my 1965 Mustang Fastback. 289 engine. Keeps in cool where the standard radiator ran a little warm.

The fan hits the bottom hose because the outlet is too far to the center compared to the proper 65 Mustang radiator. Do not buy!

Though the product is functional it is painted silver and not polished aluminum like it is advertised in the pictures. After a few hundred miles the paint is coming off. This went on my 1964.5 mustang that I take to car shows, so I will be buying a higher end polished radiator at some point to replace this one. No leaks and as I said is functional, just ugly. If you.plan on putting it on a show car just remember the paint will come off. It is painted due to imperfections in the aluminum.

The radiator itself is pretty decent for the price. I had an overheating problem in my son’s 66 mustang (289) and this radiator wa a good replacement that solved the problem for a few months. Then the problem came back and I went through a long series of parts replacement and flushes before I figured out the cap was the problem. Throw the cap away and get a Stant model 10227. ASIN: B000C8224M. The only other complaint is that the drain is a plug rather than a petcock valve.
