I'm very happy with this diverter. The 3 position diverter switch handle is easy to move, but with smooth resistance and an easy to hear & feel "click" from one position to another. No leaks or drips either.However, if you attach an adjustable spray head to this that requires you to move a handle or knob on the spray head to change spray patterns, this diverter valve may spin on. My shower head spray adjustment moves pretty freely, but still the diverter wants to spin a little on the main shower arm.Possible solution - don't use the supplied rubber washer that sits between your existing shower arm and the diverter. It is soft and crushes easilly when tightening, eventually distoring and moving out of position anyways. I found a fairly rigid nylon washer that came with a garden hose sprayer and used that instead, along with a couple extra wraps of teflon tape on the threads, and now the diverter no longer wants to spin or move when I adjust my main shower head spray pattern dial.

Bought this to replace a 1-year-old standard plastic diverter that had started to leak. I've been with that old style for many years - they only seem to last a short while before leaking. I decided to try and upgrade to a different style and go with metal instead, so purchased this a few months ago. It was super easy to install: I wrapped a little tape around the shower pipe as per instructions, and then just screwed it on to the pipe where the other one came off. It is well made, and has a beautiful and shiny chrome finish. The diverter lever operates very smoothly, and doesn't leak at all.

I've had a few of these 3 way diverters over the years. Most of them suffer from leakage or succumb to mineral deposits and either restrict flow or the handle becomes difficult to operate. After a year and a half of use this beautiful diverter has performed flawlessly. The finish on this is exceptional and just holding it you can feel is a quality build. (It's heavy for its size) My only gripe would be the handle, it's plastic instead of metal. Why they skimped on the handle I don't know. But it's not a deal breaker in my opinion as it feels solid as you move it. If your looking for a nice looking solid 3 way this is it!

Very easy to install, mere minutes. The product itself is made of metal, and not chrome plated plastic. Yeah, you spend more, but get more. The ergonomic diverting handle is a blessing in disguise, very easy to move back and forth. I would use again and recommend.

I installed this value to switch between a fixed shower head and sliding handheld head in our shower in replacement of a push-pull valve that became to stiff and difficult for my wife to operate. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease in which the largr lever on this value so easily and smoothly switched from one head to the other, and more importantly, my wife is very happy with its operation. Its funny that we live in an age when the ease of switching from one shower head to another rises to the level of importance that we will spend an amount of money on a valve that we would have thought a wasteful extravagance when we were much younger. However, if it is possible to derive pleasure from the operation of a valve, we have done so. This valve has worked perfectly without leakage for several months and I have no expectation that it will not continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, I recommend it highly for those who desire a superior product. (Since this valve is all metal, you will want to use a little bit of pipe tape to avoid the potential of minor drips where there is metal to metal thread contact.)

This diverter is made out of strong metal. Built to last a lifetime. The handle is very easy to move, especially for people with arthritis or weak joints or muscles. We have purchased other diverters. This by far is the best. We have purchased this for multiple bathrooms.

So far, working as expected. It feels like a quality diverter.

For years I've had a shower head diverter that required having to pull or push with great effort. Located above the shower head, my wife was unable to exert the force required to switch from shower head to hand spray. I always worried I was stressing the plumbing with every pull and push. This Delta diverter was the perfect solution. Flipping the switch is literally possible with the brush of a finger. The switch sticks off to the side which makes it easier to reach. I am so glad I purchased and installed this!
