These dishes are not functional, but they look great and are super sturdy. Amazing quality, polished look, elegant and stylish. I highly recommend!

Got this dinnerware set right before Thanksgiving and they are really nice looking and feel real durable for a plate.I'v had a lot of compliments on them. Wish I could have got them on sale but well worth the money!

Stay away from this! It is beautiful to look at but horrible to actually use as dishes. One year ago, we ordered Galaxy place settings for 12, serving platters, serving bowls, and coffee mugs. Within two months of purchase, the bowls and plates starting chipping (in some cases dime to nickel size chunks of the stoneware missing along the rim). See the attached pictures. I used a ruler for perspective. Fortunately, the serving bowls and platters haven't chipped, but that is because they are not used as often. Our old stoneware (Noritake) has lasted over 20 years and we were simply tired of it. It was starting to show its age but certainly was not all chipped. Since the chipping seems to be a common problem, I guess I will live and learn. I always thought Pfaltzgraff meant quality. Apparently not. Never buying anything from them again.

I purchased these because a good namebrand. 3 years later? the plates and bowls are all marked with black utensil marks on the plates and bowls. Sooooo disappointing!!!! Need to donate this trash dishware.

The colour is fantastic and they are strong. Careful with the microwave they do get very hot. I have not had them very long but really glad I bought them.

I've only been using these about a month, but I love the weight, the pattern, and the style. To make things even better I was in a local discount store and found a platter and large serving bowl that are almost identical and look great together. I have a set of Pfaltzgraff dishes in my other home that I've been using for 3 years or more and they don't chip or scratch at all. I feel sure I will be just as pleased with these. They come out of the dishwasher spotless and beautiful. They go with a lot also.
