Leglamp window does NOT light up!
Poorly designed. The leg lamp is NOT visible AT ALL unless you duck down to see it and look hard as the picture of it is so very dark. When you plug it in, all the windows light up MINUS the window where the leg lamp is. The leg lamp should have definitely been the area to light up, not as described. Pictures are not realistic of what the product truly is. I am a true fan of the movie, the leg lamp is the whole point. Was also packaged very poorly. Not taped well, box breaking a part and wobbly. Good thing the house itself was partially enclosed in stiff styrofoam. Sending back, not worth the money at all. I might have been ok if the house was actually a very close replica, the door is not the same as the movie so i don’t care for it. Highly disappointed.

Close Enough
Lots of small-grain glitter. It comes right off onto your hands. Otherwise, its a cute piece. It isn't technically accurate to the movie exterior though.

Nice if not broken Xmas lights.
Nice piece if it didn’t come broken. Put in for refund, but trying to see if I can keep it though since it is hard to get now. Sucks though.

Amazon gets 5 stars for ordering, delivery, on timeDept56 gets 4 stars for well-made product, well-designed reusable packaging, just the right size to go with the rest of our Christmas village, looks just like Ralphie's house.BUT (why not 5 stars?) -- you can barely see the leg lamp -- a major award! -- too bad it couldn't be back lit.(The flagpole scene that goes with the house gets 5 stars.)
