I had this lamp for 2 years. I loved it!!! Fit in my room perfectly. No problem with it at all. It was a great reading lamp. It wasn't too tall and it held up well and looked good. I thought i needed another bigger one so I bought another and gave this one to my family. Now I want the same lamp! I liked it so much better than the monster Tiffany Mission lamp I have now. Soon as I can sell the monster one I bought (pretty but too big) I'm going to get this one again.

My husband and I love the look of this lamp. We also love the light output. But the shade is broken and has many pieces that are loose, glue is coming off, rendering the glass unsecured to the other pieces, and one of the pieces of glass has a crack through the middle of it. We'd like a replacement lamp shade.

Great value for the $$. Heavy metal stand keeps lamp from falling over. 2 different bulb sockets allow a higher wattage for reading and a lower one for ambiance. Only minor problem is height of shade is SO high that if you are sitting at the correct angle, light from bulb is in your eyes. Lamp was packaged well, and only took a few minutes to assemble the base to the 2 pole sections. Then add the shade (heavy colored polymer?) and the finial and you're ready to use.

The lamp is pretty and well made. But it was smaller than I expected. So I was a little disappointed in that. Wish is was a little taller and shade, wider. But like it anyway! Stained glass is well made. Base is heavy, so it would take a lot for it to tip.

Terrible quality - the soldering between the glass was chipping, and, in places, bent up, leaving sharp edges exposed. The glass was uneven, there were stains from the solder on the glass, and pieces of glass didn't line up, either with the plane of the lampshade or at the corners. The soldering was also of such unequal width that I could see the unevenness from 8 feet away with my naked eye. Returned it.

I have recently purchased a number of floor lamps for my office. I bought this one but ended up giving it to a colleague. The main problem is that the ratio of the size of the glass shade to the height of the pole is not optimal. If you are using this lamp next to a couch or a chair, and you are not especially tall, the bulb will glare in your face.I ended up using tiffany style torchiere lamps that direct the light to the ceiling for gentle diffuse lighting. I found them to be more useful.However, if you need downward directed light and do not have surface area for a table lamp, this may work for you. Just keep in mind the caution mentioned above.

Very heavy base and lamp shade. Great lamp.

Overall, a lovely lamp. Color is as described, adds to the ambiance of the room. Only minus was the height of the lamp - it's about 8" shorter than expected. I should have measured for height. Learn from my mistake. It appears that there is no "standard" when it comes to floor lamps.
