PKCELL 9V Battery Carbon Zinc for Smoke Detectors 6F22 Battery,Ultra Long-Lasting

I go through waaaay too many 9V batteries primarily for active electronics in guitars & basses. Basses often use 2x 9V for 18V and the price of batteries is waaaay to d*mn high thesedays, so I tried these out to see how long they last.Verdict: 2 THUMBS UP! They last nearly as long as batteries that cost over 2x as much. They are now my go-tos.

These are priced right and worked perfectly. Hoping they’ll last through the year on our smoke detectors.

I know it's been almost 3 years since I purchased these. but they say they're supposed to be good till November 2032. I've only used a couple For smoke detectors & they seem to be working...HMMM??? but I should probably check them because for smoke detectors it could be a safety hazard if they die or already didn't you put them in and you don't realize it. I just tried one of these and it was 7.5 V out of the package. So and I put another new one in and it died immediately under very light load. it started at 9.3 V but within seconds it dropped to 6 V. so I would definitely say these batteries are neither Ultra Long Lasting NOR are they Extra Heavy Duty as advertised.

I wouldn’t say they are as good as Energizers but still a good product and great price!

Needed 8 for my smoke detectors. These do quite well for 1 fifth of the price in a store here.
