Loads of fun!
Very easy to learn rules regardless of your experience with card games and great replayability. This set includes enough cards for up to 4 people to play, some expansions which add even more fun and replays (if you aren't into them you could just play the base game and it's still awesome), and the rules even include different modes to play (solo, 1v1, 2v2, etc.).If you're on the fence about getting it, there's a free computer (Steam) and phone version of the game where you could try it before you buy it. It offers tutorials and challenges to help you confirm before you commit.

Best deckbuilder game ever!
The game is my most favorite game ever. 1-4 players, coop and pvp, easy to learn, and a lot of fun variants of the game. The quality of the box and cards is great, has a storage space for extensions, which I do advise you to get as well.

Love this game, but you should get sleeves.
I remember finding the original base set several years ago at a small card shop. I even got a new promo card to go with it. I love this game. This box is a nice way to start your star realms journey with storage space for your cards and expansions. There's a big rulebook, a cardboard playmat, the base set for up to 4 players with a trade deck that features merc cruisers. Gambits and 2 Boss Battle Challenge cards are also included. Now I don't know if they changed the card stock for this box set, or something else, but when I was shuffling, one of the corners on a card got caught and the back started to peel. I would highly recommend buying sleeves for these cards, as you will be shuffling them a lot.

Great game
We played the two player game for months and loved it so we bought the 4 player so we could have more fun. Best travel, play anywhere game we have.

Great storage space for multiple sets and expansions, but a bit expensive compared to other sets
I really enjoy Star Realms, I have played it with several friend groups and it always is a hit. I personally like the balance of Star Realms: Frontiers and Star Realms: Colony Wars better than the original set (which is the set the box set includes), so if you are looking to buy Star Realms I would start with one of those two as they both can be played standalone.I would recommend this set if you already have a few star realms sets and are looking for more storage space, but do not plan to buy too many expansions. It is quite a bit smaller than the universal storage box making it take up less shelf space, and includes a copy of the base set and gambit, making it most ideal if you did not purchase either of those. I managed to fit the base set, colony wars, frontiers, both gambit expansions, all four united expansions and 6 of the command decks without removing the plastic dividers in the box. Could probably fit a few more expansions if I took out the dividers as well.So overall, if you are looking to try out Star Realms but think you may end up buying expansions later, I would recommend purchasing Frontiers and/or Colony Wars first. Hold off on buying the original set, as you can purchase it as part of he box set. If you end up enjoying the game and want more variety, this is a great set to get before going into expansions.

Good, but a little too "empty"
I got the big box, which is cool, but the extra add-ons are not really important at all (board, extra player decks, mercy cruiser cards) . I would have rather gotten just the base deck + Colony wars for about the same price.

Great Game - Large box
This a is a great game. I had frontiers for a long time but I prefer the cards from this set and enjoy the variety of the two sets. The box is large for what is in it as there is space for expansions. If this is your first time buyin I recommend to get a smaller box like Colony Wars or Frontiers. This is a good box to hold more sets if you want to "commit" to the franchise. As far as I can tell it is the same cards as orginaly star realms in the small box.

Great intro or expansion to Star Realms
Can be used to start your Star Realms journey or expand it and has the added benefit of solo scenarios to play. Easy to learn and highly recommended.

great game - fun, easy to learn, very free styled deckbuilder
my first and only other deckbuilder ive ever played is dominion - great fun, but is very rigid- 1 draw- 1 action- 1 buy- action cards can give extra of these- buy vp cards that do "nothing" untill the game ends (though discarding these are "free of consequence" if requiried to)star realms was very familiar in structure in how it is played- except you can buy as much as you can- attack as much as you can- you dont have vp cards like in dominion, you have 50 authority or life pointswhat does this game give you?- base set of money and attack cards- base set of explorer money cards- 4 x starter decks (8 x money and 2 x attack each = 10 cards)- 2 x challenge cards- the gambit expansionmy mistake?- also buying the base game again for the starter decks allowing for 6 players- then buying the frontier and colony wars expansions as a set- each of these also provide 4 x stater decks each- frontier also provides 8 challenge cards but 2 of them are duplicates of this box set's- now i intend to find other expansions and will end up with a lot of doubles- this is not the seller's responsibility it is purely on mewhy say all this?- i want anyone interested in playing 6 player to know thier options with other expansions before making some duplicate purchases like i didend of the day?this is a fantastic buy - cant recommend it enough

Sadly Disappointing
A great game and a must-buy if you want multiple decks but it's a rather lackluster offer all things considered. The board is useful, but small and unimpressive. The box contains lots of empty space and includes a foam block to make up the space. It feels truly underwhelming. I would like to see more in the box, perhaps some gambit cards or cards that are not available with the standard deck.Generally speaking, not a terrible purchase but nothing exciting either.
