Simplicity 8258 Women's Sheath Dress Sewing Pattern, 3 Styles, Sizes 10-18

Takes me back to the class of the '50's-'60's. Easy to make. I used pink linen and made a matching coat to go with it. I added a pair of white gloves and heels, and a 50's style hat. The compliments❣️❣️

I followed this pattern and made a beautiful dress. I appreciated how well the instructions were written and explained, some patterns are quite vague but this one was very enjoyable to read.

This is a beautifully constructed dress that follows your figure if you know how to do it right. But because of that, it is crucial to know how to adjust so that it fits your shape. Otherwise it’s awkward here and there … like bust, butt, waste… some part could be tight while others are too loose.I wish it gives with instructions on adding lining b

So enjoying this pattern. I found it easy to follow and self explanatory. Hoping the sleeves and pockets are as easy as the rest of it.

I followed the directions and my measurements precisely, but when it came down to it, it was too large. There is room to adjust, fit the dress at the end, but even that was difficult because it was sooo large. Still made a cute dress, and I found a belt for it so I'm fine. I might use the pattern and cut to a size down.

La verdad es que tuve que ver videos de YouTube para entender muchas de las indicaciones con la que vienen estos patrones, pero una vez familiarizado el resultado es perfecto.

This is an American pattern, but the European equivalent sizes are listed underneath, so follow bust and hip sizes and you can't go wrong. I intend to use this pattern to create a basic shift dress pattern block
