Good, strong, reliable line...only complaint is that it's kinda course and noisy

This is the most versatile braid I've used, holds up well and casts far.

Try other brands but end up coming back to this brand. Use it in saltwater and freshwater fishing. Can cast a mile. Smooth and strong.

I've tried a bunch of different lines, because the 250 & 500 yard spools of Power Pro were so expensive. I'd buy up lines when they were on discount and experiment with off brands. All of it in the 10 -50 pound test line range. From that experience, I chose to get the 65# 1500 yds spool.This line is round, seems consistent in diameter, doesn't stretch, wears better than all of the other braids I've tried and best of all it comes in yellow!So you know, there seems to be a lot of colors available with all of the different brands of braid. With Power Pro, I've tried green and yellow. With other's I've tried blue, yellow, red and green.All of these are done with dyes and blue turns white really fast, green and yellow also eventually turn white. The red line was just strung and I haven't fished it. I expect it will turn white.If you fsih over 50 days with any line, expect the terminal end to get white and get worn. Power Pro seems to hold its strength, as does Spider Wire, the off brands don't. If you tie on a fluoro leader and break off, my breakage happens at the terminal knot or the connecting knot to the braid. I usually fish with an equal or lower test pound fluoro leader than the braid. This enables you to fish 50 days without respooling. After 50 days of fishing, if you're cheap, spool another reel backwards with the worn line going on the new spool first and you can fish 100 days with the same line.I don't have much use for mono line any more. Braid coupled with fluorocarbon line fools trout and that's the most line shy fish I fish for during the course of a year.Old reels may require mono or fluoro to anchor the line. A yard or two of mono/fluoro is all you need. New reels seem to be braid ready. You'll know if your reel needs the mono/fluoro because it simply won't spool, or if you do happen to get it spooled, the first time there's any tension, the line will just spin on your spool. It will be maddening.I hope this helps.

The quality is exceptional. Used it for sea fishing and good quality line . I bought a 65lb one and reeled half way on to my shimano Ax4000 reel . So that i can use for both bait and spin fishing . I used it couple of times now and the color is still there no fade so far .
