Simple First Words Let's Talk Board book – Sound Book, September 27, 2011

This is a great book for toddlers who are just learning to talk. They love to hear the words spoken at the press of a button! The board book's pages are easy for little hands to turn, and the pictures are all simple yet colorful. I highly recommend this talking board book.

We bought this book for my 19 month old daughter who is speech delayed because of a now resolved hearing issue. I wanted to give her a book that had big pictures and said names of objects. She likes to press the buttons and as I'm showing her the pictures - I will say the names of the items in the sing-song voice that she loves. She has already tried to vocalize words that she hasn't before - like car and boat. All in all - I really liked this book and considered it useful. The pictures are bright and colorful and the sounds are not too loud and easy to understand. I am looking forward to using this in the future as another tool in our arsenal to help her communicate better.

My Grandson loves to press the buttons when he looks at the book. We are hoping it helps him with his words.

The media could not be loaded. The book itself is... decent. I like the large pictures and the large font, but when you press the buttons to hear the words it's pretty staticky. I tried to attach a video so people can hear it.

My kids both loved this book as a fresh one year old. Most of their first words have come directly from this book. Words are articulated clearly and book is bound strong for years of play. I include this as a gift for every 1st birthday kid!

I have given this book to a lot of 1-2 year olds. I like the real pictures for language development.

With the exception that the volume is too low and cannot be increased, it is otherwise a nice training aid.
