As a longtime Ham radio operator I'm always looking for well-made, durable hardware for mounting antennas. This bracket has a 5/8" female thread fitting on one side and an SO-239 socket on the other, to mate with your PL-259 plug for connecting co-ax cable. The 5/8" thread will fit most common vertical antennas used by amateur radio operators.

It worked perfectly after installed on an RV ladder hand rail. The bolts were too short to use the lock washers but it works well without them.

This is a well made product and heavy duty, works great.

I got the idea from a Youtube video, so nothing original going on here. I attached it to a 12" ground spike,connected one ground wire to a PowerPole, stuck it in the ground, attached a 17' telescoping vertical, hooked up four 25' radials and worked France, CA and AZ with 20W. Maybe being at 5000' on a SOTA activation helped but it did work as advertised.

I got into Ham Radio and GMRS and found myself going down a rabbit hole when it comes to antennas. So next thing I know I need mounts, good sturdy mounts that won't corrode. This fit the bill, and on top of that, they are cheap. I have one on my truck, one on the house and I mounted two together to make a Hamstick dipole. They do everything you need at an affordable price!
