Water Pump
Really a pretty good pump. No rust, high flow, quiet motor operation, smooth significant flow, low drain on the 12 volts batteries I use. The only problem I had is that this pump won't self prime. I had to go to Harbor Freight to buy another pump to put in series with this pump to get it started flowing each time I use the Jabsco pump. Once the water is flowing, the Jabsco pump works just fine and I turn off the primer pump. Priming the Jabsco takes some finesse. I use this pump to pump water and methanol out of 55 gallon drums. I use a hose with a gasoline type hand held valve to fill the other containers. This works great, with the exception of priming, or getting the water flowing initially. Once the flow starts, I can empty an entire 55 gallon drum in short order with very little battery drain. Real good product overall. Cheers

. Don’t last.
I have been using these pumps for years since 2001 the last five years they have been nothing but crap. I’m lucky to get six months out of them. Time to switch.

Quality and Time
This pump is on my livewell on my boat. It was a replacement in kind. And was delivered within two days of ordering and fit perfectly and work great.

Ran solid on my ctsv for 3 years until it was blasted by a man hole cover. Which split the part in 2 at 5 mph. I upgraded to the c6 zr1 pump and noticed the increase in temperature drop after spirited driving and general about 5°F lower average iat2s. However for the money the Jabsco is hard to beat especially given the all metal external and internal structure.

Little work horse
We just replaced our old pump, which was about 10+ years old, with this High Flow pump. Wow, this little pump works really good at pushing the water through. What a difference it has made. It bolted right into the exsisting holes from the old one. I've read alot of reviews with people having problems with theirs, but for us, so far so good. If things change I'll let you know.

Will not siphon or pump any water. Weak garbage.
Installed it in my boat to run the live wells. Used the same inlet as the previous unit. It kind of ran for a short time, 30 minutes, then wouldn’t pull water anymore. It is supposed to be able to prime up to 6.5’ so I placed it on a bucket full of water, wet the pump and it wouldn’t pull anything. I wanted too long to install it and now I can’t return it. Don’t make my mistake, just don’t buy it. Oh, there is a 3 year warranty that they don’t seem to want to honor through the manufacturer. It was quiet though, because it didn’t do anything.

It is NO WAY 29.7 GPM.
I bought this expensive 12v pump thinking it would offer some more flow than a more standard 12v rv style pump. Nope! It is almost the same size as a RV water pump. It is quiet though! It's nice that the pump is metal. It doesn't have a pressure switch so it just keeps pumping.I was hoping for something between a big DC-10 washdown pump thats $1,500 and a $100 rv water pump. This is definitely not it.

Best bait pump for the money!
This is a high volume pump I use for 2 Blue Water Bait tanks, it has a Stainless Steel Impeller, so if you suck in eel grass or kelp, it wont fry the impeller.
