Powerful, Lightweight, and Surprisingly Quiet — A Cleaning Pro’s Best Friend
The Atrix HEPA Backpack Vacuum has completely changed the way I clean—especially in tight or high-traffic areas. As someone who regularly tackles stairs, office spaces, and commercial jobs, this backpack-style vacuum is a game changer.First off, it’s lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The padded shoulder and waist straps help distribute the weight, so it doesn’t strain your back, even after extended use. It takes a couple of uses to adjust to having a vacuum on your back, but once you do, it’s far more efficient than dragging around a bulky upright or canister.Suction power is impressive for its size—plenty strong for dust, dirt, pet hair, and even fine debris like drywall dust. The included attachments are super versatile, letting me clean blinds, vents, baseboards, and even car interiors. And because it uses HEPA filtration, it traps allergens and fine dust, making it great for homes with pets or allergy sufferers. It’s also quieter than expected—a huge plus when working in shared spaces or during business hours.

First Impressions - Impressed!
We just received our first Atrix vacuum. We own several models of Proteam backpacks for our cleaning company. We decided to try something different and more economical because we are constantly having to repair our Proteam vacs, mainly switches (every year) and occasionally EXPENSIVE motors, among other small problems like our side filters constantly getting blown out of the filter doors. Our cleaners often complain about how cumbersome Proteam vacs feel when they are advertised to be easy to use and ergonomic. (I also use these vacs and know them like the back of my hand. And In my experience, it seems that the ergonomics break down pretty quickly with use.) These issues led me to seek out another alternative to meet our cleaning standards and cleaner needs.I set-up my Atrix vacuum today and gave it a test run. Immediately, I noticed that the backpack mount and ROBUST velcro waist band is a huge support. The vacuum felt light, and I was able to easily move around. I really appreciated the handle that attached to the hose and above the pole attachment. It made for a natural experience. The vacuum didn't rotate/shift on my back what-so-ever. (It was a contrast I wasn't use to.) Suction and power seems very good (tested on carpet and hard floor). I used the spinning brush attachment on durable hard floor in the kitchen. No noticeable debris kickback for random crumbs, a popcorn kernel or 2, and other small bits. The vacuum is on the quieter-ish side when compared to the power it seems to have. I sent the vacuum off with the cleaners to use today.Attachments for this model look okay and haven't been tested. I will probably purchase their Pro-grade hair brush tool. I am throughly happy that this vac came with a spinning floor tool and all-purpose floor tool without an additional cost. The construction seems solid. I am curious how it will handle the ware-and-tear of moving from job-to-job. (We own a residential and commercial mobile cleaning business. Every couple hours or so, we are on to the next job.)Anyone who operates backpack vacs knows the problematic extension cord issue. Vertical hanging clips don't always hold in place, and cleaners end up stressing the vacuum, power cord, and extension cord by tying the extension cord around the power cord. It's a huge no-no, but it happens out of necessity and annoyance when the extension constantly breaks free from the power source during use. Atrix has created a cool solution by permanently mounting a horizontal clip that provides (so far) the best support and tension I've seen. The extension prongs fit very, VERY snugly into the power cord.Lastly, I really appreciate the cloth-like debris collection bag. The interior of the vac seems very well sealed to prevent dust from escaping and infiltrating to the internal parts. In conclusion, so far, so great! However, I still have a lot of observing to do. Proteam's vacuum uses a very durable plastic body construction that can take some beating. I don't know if Atrix plastic body will hold up or not. It appears more ridged. Time will tell. Power/suction seemed good during the test run, but how will it hold up over time? How/when will it deteriorate as the bag and/or filters fill? How long will the rotating spin brush hold up? (I had issues with Proteam's attachment dying on me fairly quickly.) What will the suction be like when using the attachments? I will update my review once we've spent a little more time. That said, first impressions: I'm impressed!

Still Going Strong After a Year – Great Vacuum with One Flaw
I’ve had this backpack vacuum for about a year now and it’s been a solid investment. It’s lightweight and super easy to carry around, which makes cleaning large areas or stairs way less of a hassle. The suction is still powerful after a year of use, and everything feels durable—no frayed wires, nothing broken (except one thing, which I’ll get to).I really like the retractable hose—it gives good reach and stores neatly. The only issue I had was with the rolling head attachment, which broke within the first couple of months. That was a bit of a letdown, but the vacuum itself still works great without it.Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, lightweight backpack vacuum with strong suction, this one’s a great choice. Just be aware the attachments might not be as tough as the vacuum itself.

Amazing value for the price. Backpack is a game changer.
Best vacuum ever! It works great - very powerful for a great price, comes with pretty much any attachment you'll ever need, and being able to carry it on your back makdes the job way faster. No more dragging the cannister and having to kick it out of your way and no more crashing into furniture with it. You need an extension cord, because it only has a short cord, but you can buy whatever length you need. Price is amazing compared to other backpack models and I don't see how any of those would do hundreds of dollars better of a job. Super happy with my choice on this one.

Incredible vacuum.
I am SO happy with this vacuum! It’s well made, the vent being on the back is great, easy to reach power switch, having a blower will help so much with door tracks and no idea why people mention attachment quality. They’re no better or worse than any other vacuum and work great. And the washable cloth filer bags are a HUGE plus. Mine came with 9!Attached pics of the bottoms of the flat floor and carpet attachments because you can’t see them well in the ad. Love the flat floor raises with brushes or lowers without and can’t tell that the carpet has a brush roller… but it does. It’s comfortable to wear, doesn’t feel heavy and the waist support is nice and wide. Very impressed. Will be buying a second for my cleaning business.
