Viper Desperado 58" 2-Piece Billiard/Pool Cue, Death Mark

First off it got a two not because of the look or feel of the stick for technical issues the packaging is horrible I read it in other reviews but it's in a little plastic sleeve and a box way bigger than it with no packing material bubble wrap or nothing amazed it got here in one piece if they get enough bad Stars I'm hoping they fix that in the future. it did not have a weight in it at all I ordered and paid extra for a 19 ounce and it is not what I ordered. Hey Michelle gave me a partial credit back and I'm going to buy a weight for it myself because I don't want to take the chance of shipping it back and the next one coming damaged.As for the stick itself it's hard to judge the quality without the weight because it feels so light and cheap it feels like it'll snap in half the first time I use it but adding weight will make it feel better in my opinion. The kip looks really good it's partially shaped and looks like it's ready to play it looks like a medium to hard tip. The ferrell it's smooth and feels good on your skin it's a good diameter seems to be standard. The engraving and the look of it is really great in person it's glossed over which gives it a good look and feel the images are great. The leather feels a little off to me it's very dry and slides in your hand it doesn't feel like you get a good grip on it. Possibly finding some way to condition it may remedy that but I don't feel like I have a secure grip as I would with cloth.Overall it is a beautiful stick and after some adjustments I believe it will be a really great que. If they had shipped what I ordered and shipped it carefully I would give it 4.5.

I mainly play on bar tables and even then only occasionally. I have wanted to have my own decent cue for a while but never thought I played enough to warrant one. I’m not a bad player but no pro by any means. I have only previously bought a couple of one piece billiard cues for an inexpensive home pool table I had had. So this is the first time that I had spent over a $100 for a decent cue. The quality for what you pay for is exceptionally though. The cue is well balanced and truly straight. The design is so much better in person. Even if you only play once a month I would highly suggest you treat yourself and pick up one of these cues. I’m sure no one would think you are a shark for having a Viper cue but it is nice just for the consistency. Hell it is just nice to have your own cue and this one is no slouch.

Playing APA league pool. I was sceptical on the price but like a le pro tip. I also liked the laser engraving but wasnt sure if i should get another players cue or a micky before i found this cue. I'm really happy with it. The taper is great its adjustable weight but you have to buy the weight bolts separate. I have other highend cues and this is my new favorite. Its not cheap and feels solid on contact.

Solid que, sturdy and well made. Love the bottom that has a scraper attached. Very satisfied with this product.

I paid for what I thought was a custom cue. The cheap 40 dollar sticks are better than this junk. I like the design. I should have known better.

This cue is flawless, joints come together perfectly with no play, no bend, and the shaper is sure nice to have. I thought the purchase of the cue you were to recieve a free case however I did not which I was kinda unhappy about cause I believe all cues need a nice home straight out of the package. Speaking of, that was my only concern is how it's packaged. 0 for packaging no foam no bubble wrap an to much play in the box itself for not having bubble wrap or foam in it to secure better but thank God mine came in jus fine, good luck

The one star is not for the product, but for the seller. This is the only review i have ever posted on Amazon because i am this frustrated.For the price of the item, i would've expected to get a new one and not one that was probably a demo or a return. The tip of the pool cue was already shaped and scuffed, which i didn't want to be round shaped, i wanted squared. If this was the only cue in stock and i was warned about this, u would've purchased another weight category.

Love it. The woodwork is very cool and it's completely straight. Nice to play a game with out a warped stick.

Viper makes an excellent pool cue and the price range is excellent .

Really nice cue. I like the length, weight and overall feel of the cue. Could be a five but no case with it.
