We had a different mattress cover that was always creasing up and wasn't made fully of fabric. This one fits our deep mattress well and doesn't move around under you, making it much more comfortable for sleeping. It's also very well constructed and really great value for the low price.

This does just what it's supposed to do - be a mattress pad. It's not fancy or thick, but covers the mattress nicely. The pockets are very deep and will stayed tucked in on a 14-inch mattress, unlike my previous mattress pad that was thick but didn't have enough material to tuck very far even though it was supposed to be more than enough for the depth of the mattress. This is rather thin, but that's what I wanted as I don't need the extra padding to make the bed softer. It's already too soft. The noise level is not an issue at all as there doesn't feel like there's any plastic involved, just a little padding inside of the quilted material. I don't know about leak resistance or waterproof-ness, but we don't drink or eat in bed so that will help. Overall, it's a mattress pad that appears to have decent quality, covers the mattress adequately, and will stay where it's supposed to stay.

Much thinner than I expected, but for the price I can't complain much. Fit perfectly and seems to be well made.

Beside that, the mattress pad is tightly rolled up inside a plastic bag, to keep it safe during shipping.Looking at the mattress pad itself, the top part has the quilted pad and the side part is a semi-stretchy polyester with elastic gathering at the end where it'll wrap around the looking for the manufacturing tag on the cover, we found several. One small tag has it listed as being manufactured by oekotex and gives the manufacturer's website. There is another tag that says this is 100% polyester and states that it is all new material. There is another tag tagging it as Amazon basics and giving the size as 60x80x18 in or 152 cm by 203 cm by 40 cm. It states that the shell is 80% polyester 20% cotton. The filling is 100% polyester as is the skirt. The tag also has universal washing symbols telling you to wash it in 40° c. Water do not use chlorine bleach, Temple dry low heat, do not iron, and do not dry clean. The tag also states that it is made in China.The fabric exterior of the mattress cover is very smooth and soft feeling.Time to throw it in the washer before putting it on the bed. (I always recommend washing new linens and clothing, no matter how nice they look. You never know what types of particulates or oils may be left on the fabric from manufacturing.)

I ordered this mattress pad cover and ignored the negative comments. The price was super and I did not want a mattress cover with protection, and those are hard to find.When it arrived, I did inspect it for spots or damage and there were none. I also made sure it fit my king-sized mattress then I washed and dried it per instructions.My mattress has a 3 inch memory form topper, that sits on a pillow top mattress 1.5 years old mattress So the total size of my mattress is 16.5 inches. Please note: This cover is thin, with a little cushion, which I love. It's not waterproof. The elastic on the skirt was very tight fitting on the last corner of the mattress. This cover will not fit more than 17 inches in hight in my opinion.This is exactly what I needed. The 3 inch topper I did purchase at Amazon and it is perfect, now with this cover it makes it even more comfortable.
