I’m primarily disappointed in the bags size- it clearly states the bags are 20x16 and mine are 12x13. That is a large difference, not just an inch or 2. They were purchased for a project and are much smaller then expected. They are also much thinner then other canvas bags I have purchased on amazon for projects. Due to the nice large gusset they will hold plenty- but beware of sizing and thickness if you expected a sturdier thick bag.ETA: have been using the bags because I couldn’t get new ones here in time. Bags stink! (I had read this on other sites as well). It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to iron them - but then came so wrinkly I need to iron them before I can work with them. To top it off- some have spots. One looks like a big water/liquid mark and others have smaller spots. A couple bags are so bad I don’t feel comfortable using.

DO NOT BUY THESE! I washed these bags once (haven't even used them yet) and the shrinkage is ridiculous! You can see from the pictures I took that they shrink down to about 11 x 12 inches after washing and hang drying. I didn't even put them in the dryer! Whoever makes these obviously cuts their own costs by not preshrinking the fabric before sewing the bags together.In addition, the strap seam ripped open on one of the bags (see picture). As someone who sews regularly, I can tell these were not sewn properly. The seam allowance is nonexistent on the straps. I don't know how they even accomplished that.If you are reading reviews, please save yourself the trouble and buy a different product from a different seller. This is 100% a fraudulent product.

Really liked them until they fell apart in the washing machine. I just bought them, put them for wash, and the handles are all coming apart.

These bags are exactly the size I wanted in a grocery bag but they were not made of the heavier canvas material I had hoped for. I have used the soft sided bags made of recycled material that the stores sold for $1 and I liked their dimensions but they became week after a good number of uses and the bottom would pull apart at undesirable times. But I had bought one bag from the grocery store made of canvas that washed well and has stood up better over time. The canvas on that bag is heavy enough that I can literally count the threads per inch (32) and the handles are made of an even heavier material with a thread count of 11 per inch where each "thread" is actually a cord of small threads twisted together. But the dimensions of that old canvas bag were not at all what I liked. So in ordering these bags I was hoping I would get a bag made in the dimensions that I liked and of the same heavy canvas of my old canvas bag. Unfortunately that's not what I got.While these bags are indeed made in the dimensions that I like they are made of a lighter material than I had hoped for. I washed them as soon as I got them to get rid of the raw cotton smell and washing them caused the material to wrinkle quite a bit. The wrinkling in the bag itself was not a particular problem but the severe wrinkling of the handles made the handles less than convenient when using the bag. I had to iron the handles flat so they were easier to grab and use and were in the same shape they were when the bags arrived. This was in contrast to my old canvas bag where the material the handles were made of didn't wrinkle at all and required no maintenance after a washing. Also the old canvas bag was constructed in such a way that there are fewer seams and none at the bottom of the bag, only on the sides. In my mind this makes the old bag more durable as there are no seams to fail in locations of significant stress.Over all I think these are good bags for the money but they could have been much better if they were constructed differently and had used better materials, especially in the handles.

I ordered this set of 4 bags in December 2019, and again, in May 2020. They are two completely different sets of bags. Please see the picture for reference- and yes, both bags have been through the laundry.I received the larger, less wrinkled bags in my first purchase. I would be able to use 2-3 of these when grocery shopping versus a dozen or more of the smaller, less sturdy, and far more wasteful plastic bags you get at the grocery store. They are strong and holding up great; I ordered more recently because I had started to use these bags during this pandemic running errands. I no longer take a purse; I take just the essentials out with me (which now includes gloves, wipes, and masks), pile all my purchases in, then put the bag in the laundry after I get home. I wanted more just to have on hand. If I had received the bag on the right the first time, there is no way I would have purchased a second set. They are about the size of plastic shopping bags, and don't hold half as much as the other set (they aren't half the size, but bulkier things don't fit like they do in the other set). As soon as I opened them, I could see they were not the same size, and on top of that, they smelled like wet hay, even though they were completely dry, so I immediately threw them in the laundry. They shrunk even more in the wash, and came out extremely wrinkled. They no longer stink, so that is a win. I might not be so disappointed, if not for knowing I literally ordered the exact same product, but did not receive the exact same product.Very disappointed in the second set, but love the first set, so that is why I landed in the middle with a 3 start review.

LOVE them!Love the size.Love the durability.Love the lack of advertising.Love the color and its lack of dyes.Love the quality of the materials from which they're made.Love the "just right" amount of groceries that fit into them, more or less as needed.Love the fact that if the strawberries get squashed I can just throw these bags into the washer/dryer and they're good as new.These bags are THE BEST bags one can buy!Please take that as gospel from someone who has waaaaay too many reusable shopping bags living in her car and who feels she's got a keen sense of and deep appreciation for the bags that are -- like Mama Bear's bed in the middle - just right.

Llegan oliendo horrible, las lavas y se deshacen (no las metí a la secadora) y salen todas arrugadas, las tienes que planchar. Aun así, la tela es bastante resistente.
